Pam, try cutting papers with folded edge away from ya. Open ends towards ya will move less coming down then folded edge. These are so cute😍but Sunny steals the episode🤗

I had a pile of 3x5 index cards and made miniatures from them. I also have a pad of the same size note pads so they worked perfectly for mine.

Pam, I covered the back of my metal ruler with a light grained sand paper to keep it from slipping. I just happened to have some and tried it and it works really well.

Two ideas: when cutting your paper, turn fold to be at top.. makes it easier to cut with exacting knife
Small sharps like exacto blades and dull sewing needles, dispose of by placing in empty prescription pill bottle. Put lid on and dispose at your local sheriff’s station. (Or whatever your state requires).

If you use the other end of that Tombow glue it is wider & may lay flatter so the paper doesn't bubble so much.

These are going to be great for so many uses! My "to do" lists usually get lost or tossed within a few days, but dating a mini book and keeping my lists in it in my purse is a perfect solution. They're small enough to keep several for different purposes. Thanks for another good idea.

I've made "similar " mini notebooks, but used mini composition notebooks I found in a 3 pk @ DT! They make GREAT Password journals... turned one into a "Craft notebook" .....First half of book is an.. U Already HAVE THAT & in ALL these colors.... the second 1/2, U NEED to BUY this and that or my "WISH LIST" of Craft items.
Also, I used the Wide Clear Package Tape on the front & back(inside cover also), to strengthen & protect them. Did them back several years ago & their holding up Very well!

Hey, Pam! Did you know the bottom of that Tombow glue has a FLAT applicator for laying down more glue over a wider area? It goes a lot faster than the small tip end. Love these little journals - I made a bunch of these to tuck into penpal letters in February (I had to open them flat to fit my envelope, and add an extra stamp because it was over 1 ounce.) Cheers!

Pam, you didn't mention this but you no doubt know that the Aqua Liquid glue has two tips: the fine or pen tip that you were using, and the other end is a broad tip when you want more glue.

Haha, so true! We see possibilities when we look at things, you’ve changed my life making beauty out of “trash”! Now, I see EVerything as a possible journaling object! I have organized and “Swedish death cleaning”;when I moved 2 yrs ago, so I have hardly anything that’s not crochet related (yarn). But, I just ordered a haul from Amazon to get some journals started for myself, as I am a list maker and note-to-self writer.
Made some of these to use to do my daily gratitude list. 😊
