Nope. Type 003 only has 2 elevators and 3 catapults. NO portside elevator. So in terms of sortie rate it's NOT on par like a Nimitz or Ford supercarrier. Not to mention J-15 is the largest naval fighter aircraft. For every 2 x J-15, 3 - 4 x F-18 or Rafale can be parked in the same space. Boilers too take up alot of space. So Type 003 won't be able to carry the same number of aircraft like with a US Nimitz or Ford. Maybe around 40 - 50 max similar to older Type 001 and Type 002. It's more comparable to UK's QE. On the other hand upcoming French PANG will have 3 catapults, 3 elevators, and nuclear so it's certainly more capable than Type 003. PANG may be the most powerful carrier outside the US once its fully built. Maybe Type 004 too but only time will tell.
