But years ago my mom had an app on her Android phone that functioned as a puzzle game. It was the Pikmin 3 cover art separated into tiles, and all the tiles were scrambled across a frame. But there was one missing space where the last tile would be, which allowed you to swipe the tiles around so you could try to rearrange the puzzle. I think when all the tiles were in the right place the final piece would appear and the puzzle would be complete. As far as I remember I only saw it solved one time when my mom did it. Never really heard anyone else mention this.

the first thing i would ask if you asked me how many pikmin games there are would be if ports count. while the game itself is the same, the npc games do play somewhat differently with the modified control scheme and their own quirks. then we have the switch ports of the first two games, which, of course, are inferior for many reasons. the biggest question mark goes to 3 deluxe, though, as it provides additional content that the original wii u release did not. you may ask why i bother counting all of these, but when people ask this question it's usually loaded anyway. also whether they are ok with it or hate it pretty much every pikmin fan knows what hey pikmin is.
Forever ago on the EU Nintendo website, the PIKMIN 2 promotional site had an 2D Emoji-only multiplayer-chatroom where you could pick a Pikmin color and hang out on the 4 different rooms, themed after the over-worlds. You could click to move your Pikmin around and every once in a while, an animation would play of Olimar running through the chatroom playing the swarm whistle sound effect. I can't find any record of this site existing on anything like the way back machine.
