Idk about anyone else but I loved pikmin bloom, even though I’ve grown up with pikmin. Maybe it’s because I understand the need for simplicity for what they wanted to do? But I love it. The simplicity makes it easy to log on every day without feeling overwhelmed.

It would be interesting if Totaka song gets re-used in some way shape or form in Pikmin 5.. since the song honestly reminds me of the water wraith and/or plasma wraith and there still is a lot about those said creatures we do not know about yet. Or maybe ever.

I really don't like rock Pikmin. I don't like how they can't latch on things so I have to call then after every few throws. I just got Pikmin 4 this week and I will never use the dog in combat. I heard he was broken. Ice Pikmin for the same reason. Using Ice in fights feels cheap so I won't unless I have to. I love glow Pikmin at night but I won't use them anywhere else.

The unfinished antennae beetle was going to be used for battle mode where you could summon it on your opponent from the cherry wheel but it wouldn't affect you.

Slight correction. One of the three Groinks bullets is randomly chosen to be deadly. So it won't always be the middle one.

Honestly, this mod looks less difficult and more just incredibly tedious. That's generally not a good way to generate difficulty imho.

Pikmin 4 and Elden Ring share one similarity.. they have the most strong enemies in the franchise, but your character is also a lot stronger then previous entries. At least from what I personally seen or heard.

I wish Pikmin games had more optional bosses. It's really cool that you can go out of your way to fight the Goolix, Mamuta, and Smoky Progg in Pikmin 1. Because they're shown in the Enemy Reel regardless of if you ever met them, many people find out about these enemies this way, and it makes a great incentive to replay the game. While every future Pikmin installment technically has optional bosses, you're going to have to fight them if you want to collect All Treasures/Fruit. Like yeah, I don't *have* to fight the Armored Mawdad, Calcified Crushblat, or Ancient Sirehound to *beat* the game, but I do have to if I want to *complete* the game.

I've always found the 5 optional space parts odd. Aside from the Secret Safe, most of these parts aren't difficult to collect nor are they out of your way. The Massage Machine and UV lamp are honestly the two easiest parts to get in the Distant Spring, and taking care of the Breadbug in the Forest Naval saves a lot of future headaches. From a gameplay perspective, it would have made more sense to make the optional parts especially difficult. This way, the player would be rewarded for going the extra mile and get the best ending. The only reason I can see for these parts being optional is that they're clearly unimportant based on their names and suggested purposes. It wouldn't make any sense for Olimar to fail because he didn't collect the massage machine.
