Happy Friday, y'all! We went back to apartments because we've been having such great luck with them. I am excited to have found all of the kitchen utensils, appliances, pots, and pans! They're great to be able to re-home and certainly don't need to go to the landfill. Our other favorite find was the new-in-box electric toothbrush! What a great find since we've both been wanting one (Alex got to keep this one)! Hope you're having a great day and enjoy our latest dumpster dive :D

You should buy a bissell cleaner machine and cleaning liquid. I found a chair that smelled of smoke bad and used it on it and it was fine after I cleaned it. No smoke smell and no stains!! Great for the loveseat chair
It just amazes me that people are so lazy that they can’t drop off their items for donation and just dump them. Sad state that so many people think everything is disposable. Shame on them. Thanks for your work.

Hey y'all, great finds today. Its a sweltering 107° here just north of Houston. Went to lunch with my bestie but home now in the AC. Garage sales in the morning, can't wait. I haven't been out in 3 months because of my back. I have severe kyphosis and had 2 fractured vertebraes that I had repaired. Been dealing with lots of pain but watching your videos make me happy and seeing precious Bones brings a smile to my heart. Y'all keep doing what you're doing a save it from the landfill. Go to Home Depot and buy Odoban. Spray the furniture and if it can cover up urine smell it can get rid of that odor too. Having it in your cleaning arsenal helps.
The replacement heads for the toothbrush are super expensive. BUT Target - and probably other stores - sell generic replacement heads at a huge discount. It’s a great find!
Ah that see through chair was such a shame. I’d have been so tempted to take it, see if it could’ve been glued it really well n put a small square cushion on it n kept it.but that’s just me Lol, I know you can’t save everything . Fab treasures for sure. Well done guys 👏👏😍

Some people buy used cookie sheets and spray paint them for projects you can make magnetic boards or you can paint with chalk paint, and write something
Yes Magnalite GHS are sought after cookware since 1930s. They look like they need heavy cleaning. Fill sink with hot water and good dishsoap like dawn and let it sit for 15 min.. Then apply dish soap everywhere on the pan outside and scrub away with regular (non-abrasive scrubber on inside). You want to avoid soap on inside, They are not recommended for dishwashers You can season it too If the pan is very stained you can use water and a wool pad (outside) Inside ,Cream of tarter for stain removal with the wool pad and water, If still stained final attempt is to fill pot with water, add 1/4 cup white vinegar and bring it to a boil. Once boiling turn off and let cool. Throw water out once cool. Pat dry. Hope this helps!!! Great find.
In our town, we recycle tube fluorescent bulbs as e-waste since they contain hazardous gases. Our city will take them and fluorescent bulbs can be disposed of at Home Depot.

You can make a plant stand out of a trash can whether it's metal or plastic. Leave it plain or spray paint it to match your decor, turn it upside down, and put a plant on top.

You can take the smell out of the seatee using the fabric deodorizer below if the cover is not removal to put in washing machine. 1 cup of vinegar (deodorizer) 1 cup of water (carrier) ½ teaspoon of vegetable glycerin (helps emulsify the essential oils so they don't just float on top of the mixture) ½ teaspoon of essential oil (use whichever scent you like best, or mix a couple of different oils to make your own custom blend) Add all of the ingredients to a spray bottle, give it a shake to combine everything, then spray away.

The crescent wrench is used for plumbing work. Magnalite pots are heavy duty aluminum. They are no longer made.

The big tubs make great veg growing boxes for the garden and the lid you can use to grow herbs.
Wash the cover on that double seat, fold it up+ take it camping. Then you will have it to sit together in. So glad you saved Grandma's art.

Magnalite pots are the best. Heavy aluminum. Some of them cost upwards to 100 and over. You can clean it up will brilliant pads.
