- Howdy y'all and welcome back to our dumpster diving channel! We had such an awesome day rescuing things from the landfill - there was SO much in the apartment dumpsters we went to, and we are excited to have that one new retail shop in our area now. We will definitely be checking it more regularly in the future.
This was a great last dive before we take a break for Christmas!! We hope you all have joyous holiday celebrations and a very happy New Year! We can't wait to share lots of new videos in 2024!!

I was just wondering, do you both work too? We love what you do! My hubby and I are divers too but we don't find food, have corporate dumpsters or any of that; we live in rural North Dakota. Still, a lot of people throw great stuff away! Even here. Merry Christmas you two! ❤

You guys should check the colleges this time of year. A lot of students graduate in December and move out and then also the dorms have to be emptied during Christmas so kids throw things away.

🎄 Merry Christmas. The gold stand with a light inside is the base for the mini fiber optic Christmas Tree that was in the same dumpster that you all thought was the top piece of a Christmas tree, maybe it's still there. 😁
I also saw the box for the fiber optic tree in with the parts.
I kept hoping they would look at the box for it and see the tree was there too!
I saw the gold stand and was thinking to myself that the tree was right next to it and then they found the box. I hope it is still there.🤞🤞

The macrame piece is a God's Eye. Back in the 60s we used to weave them with colorful yarn around popsicle sticks forming a cross. Incredible finds today!
The pool noodle (that you didn't take) is good to cut in half and put in tall boots to keep them upright.
Good idea, not sure that one would stand up straight. The noodle was rainbow shaped.

I think you should have taken what you thought was the top of a Christmas tree. It actually goes with the gold stand thing you thought did a light show on ceiling. It is the base for the fiber optic tree. You kept moving the box it came in. I have one and love it.

That was a great cheese grater. U left some great looking sheets. Always great if someone sleeps over. Bones is going to love that cushy carved.
People who do a lot of sewing love to get ahold of free or cheap bed sheets - lots of yardages of fabric to use.
It takes some time but u can rip the cord out of the electric blanket. I've done it before. Love y'all ❤️ happy holidays ❣️
Here at home, some people throw away good machinery and sometimes all it is is a clogged fuel line or bad gas. Sometimes things just need a nut and bolt. Then fixed. Mine now.

That tree goes in that gold base
The tree was a fiber optic tree that goes on the gold stand you thought was a light. The box was in there. Those trees are really cute y’all should go back for the tree. Nice finds!

You guys find some really awesome stuff. I love dumpster diving apartments, that is where I usually get the most stuff.
Kelly that little gold square box with the plug is the base to that little christmas tree that Alex thought was just the "top" piece of a tree. I have one of those myself, you stick the tree into the base & it lights up. The box to it was right there but ya'll just kept moving it around & never noticed the picture on it! That is definitely a knee brace. Great finds guys!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

The signs can be painted over and put garage sale and address on them. For sale signs for houses are good for that too.
Other uses for the signs: saw a lady bring them together with a cord tie and made a safe haven to prevent plants from freezing.

The mug is for tea and the side holder holds the tea bag so it can be reused for a second cup.

Hi! I got some books from the library dumpster(I volunteer there). I use them for papercrafts. Big jars make nice terrariums( cheap gifts). I also got some old
calendars to cut up. I'm 74, so I don't dive. Tina, Al's wife
That colored apartment complex is really cute. Dumpster juice haaa that made my day Im smiling. Love the new places exploring! This was an incredible haul. I love those pumpkins and so many things! It's sad to think how much goes into the landfill that isn't rescued. Those brand new shoes were an awesome find. And the huge stock pots were great. So many great decor items. The round cushion you found at the beginning is a wiggle seat for kids with adhd or sensory issues. It provides stimulation while still allowing the child to remain focused.
