The R27s are the 2nd fastest thing in the game, the first one is half the enemy team, in CAS planes, targeting my current pin-point location on the map, the exact moment I seem to have just a wee bit more fun than two minutes before. Great vid.
nah, the r27s are the 3rd fastest and the 2nd fastest is what you said. the fastest is how fast players forget how to play the game, cap points, and just straight up charge into the enemy. good stuff.
Use sim controls to make that thing turn even harder, but at the risk of losing too much speed. Very useful when you need to get some angles in a dogfight
I have tried with my HOTAS, but I find I am very good at repeatedly, and consistently, snapping the wings…

Try using the IRST for lobbing heatseekers at people. The Mig 29 is great for being a sneaky SOB in. Basically imagine you're playing a high mobility stealth build in an RPG. First try to use the IRST to track and get close to people when they're not paying attention. Then either Melee attack them [R60M] or go for a Arrow Kill. [27ER]. Or if you're a true FatSneak, load the R27T's and just use them like Throwing Knives.
In sim the IRST is amazing but in air rb it's very mid it really just doesn't make much of a difference at all at least to me

@@Skinny6539that actually is not fun, but yak is the only plane which can outturn any plane including 29A and 16A at any speed and at the same time can do 360deg turn in 1s at low speed using VTOL capabilities. Oh and it has the best armament of the game and doesn’t eat fuel even with afterburner. Love this plane😂

Supermanouvreability means the plane can sustain it's turn characteristics post stall (for the mig-29 it is 30 degrees angle of attack). In WT mouse aim the game limits you to about 70-75% of that, except for special cases like the Draken - about 60% since the flight model change. To go higher than the critical aoa value you need full real controls or some sort of roll+pitch shenanigans.
Also, the R-27ER speed changes quite a bit depending on altitude - since it has a rocket motor, the higher it is, the faster it can go. We do not know at what altitude it travels at the specified speed.

Fun fact: some heli missiles and ground aam have eccm, an example shown is how you only flared once on the ty90s and died, it makes it harder to flare missiles so you gotta flare at the last second (or decently close) or just dump flares
