In a separate lecture, Ustadh Abdurahman Hassan stated he has gone over the book over 80 times. Allahumabarik, which is indicative of how much benefits this great book has. I'm genuinely really excited for this series. Please can this be a regular upload as I will be following along inshaaAllah. (Also, suggestion: Can the next Kitab be Ar-Risalat at-Tabukkiyah or known as Spiritual Hijrah by Ibn Qayyim). Jazakallah khayr.
As far as I know, this is the only lecture in the series that’s gonna be uploaded on the YT channel. The rest of the stuff will be on the Academy and Allah knows best.

Teachers start with the biography and life of the scholar and also lay a foundation first. We live in a sad world where people that play football are more well known to the Muslim youth than heavyweight scholars like Ibn Qayyim rahimahollah. You will benefit greatly from the playlist because the book is very deep and applicable.

Assalamu 3alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, I am only a revert of 1 year so I have a great deficiency in knowledge but I will share with you what I learned bi’idhnillah. I learned the following from a book named ‘ A series of guidelines taken from surah al Fatihah’ by Shaykh ‘Abdur-Razzaq ibn ‘Abdul-Muhsun al-‘Abbad al-Badr. Specifically page 206 I quote: ‘It is also upon him to know the etiquettes and conditions of Du'à as well as the specific times and places in which supplications are answered mentioned by the Sunnah such as the field of 'Arafah, the tops of mount Safa and Marwah and after throwing the pebbles at the Jamarat (a ritual of Hajj after the first and second Jamrah on the days of Tashriq (the , 12th and 13* day of Dhul Hijjah). And some specific times in which supplications are more likely to be accepted are Laylatul-Qadr (one of the last ten nights of Ramadàn), the 'hour' on the day of Jumu'ah (Friday, the last third of the night and when in prostration. A person should seek these times and places in which supplications are answered, and these occasions must be within the limits of what has been legislated in the Sunnah of the Prophet’ I hope this answers your question, I ask Allah for forgiveness if there are any mistakes in it.
