Dating over 40: Are we too stubborn to date?

Now that I am older and have a career and a whole life could I ever give in enough to date someone new on a serious level? The masculine and the feminine in the older dater aren't as easy to deal with these day. And not to mention with my most recent situation?!? The last thing I can think about is bring a man into my life but I would like to. Lets discuss!!
