Old School Rally - Indie Rally Game Inbound! | Game News | Support The Underdogs | 2024 Steam Arcade

I often talk about the 'good old days' of gaming in the 90s and 2000s where many of our formative and favourite racing games came from, be it the big dogs of Gran Turismo or Need For Speed, or the lesser supported titles like Enthusia or Le Mans 24 Hours. So for this gaming news feature, I wanted to show some love to an upcoming independent game by the name of 'Old School Rally', which is due to have its early access demo release this month during the Steam Next Fest for June 2024
From the trailer we have we can already gather certain titbits about the game, including its minimum of 10 vehicle lineup spanning classic and modern rally, Group B and WRC alike, and some others too. We also look to have at least 5 different locations with tarmac, gravel and snow based surfaces, checkpoint based competition with worldwide leaderboards and achievements.
The title comes from a one man team in Greece by the name of Frozen Lake Games, and is published by Astrolabe Games, check out their Steam page here: steamcommunity...

I always wonder how companies get away with 'lookalike' cars - it's quite clear what these cars are supposed to be. The game looks great - I played a lot of Colin McRae 1 and 2.0 as well as V rally.
