The problem started with ITH, beginning from the very first one at Toa Payoh. Blue Ribbon literately boxed themselves in. There is a solution but planners will have to abandon and rethink the whole concept of where bus services begin, end, and layover. I don’t think Bus Premier League is prepared to accept this unless it wins some Blue Ribbon or Good Design award (pun intended) 😂😂
240 cannot deploy cuz there a very tight turn into Taman Jurong and it would require a skillful BC to execute unless 240 is amend to serve the lakeside primary school while bus 30 takes over the former stretch of 240 in my opinion
903 actually has 10 bendy buses deployed in the past. Currently only two bendy buses have been deployed. If they fully deploy bendy bus again likely not enough buses to keep current demand. Will need at least 15-17 buses to keep the frequency between peak hours
oh the 903 one i just based it off the current SD : highcap ratio personally i think anything above 13 is overkill regardless of whatever number of SDs you run (i am aware of its AM PM peak demand) but if there is really a need, then you can just add bendy accordingly
how I know need more buses because I stay place along bus 903 route. During peak hours or off peak is overload of passengers along the bus routes and additional more New residents is required to use the bus service that increases more buses. More than 13 buses still reasonable because more demand
Although this suggestion seems weird, I feel 976 should have special bendy deployments during school dismissal times cuz it gets really crowded during that time
low hanging tree branches lorong chuan (3.9m) changi airport (3.8 or 4.0m) commonwealth drive turn from queensway too tight for 3 axle DD but bendy bus can go in (SBS999U 195 from 1997 - 1999) bukit batok st 52 too tight for DD (but 945 bendy can clear) generally bendies are better at doing 90 degree turns but struggle with tight gentle curves (jurong west street 91 etc), or u turn / 3 point turn double decker buses (esp 3 axle DDs) are the opposite to the above but then bus model can affect turning radius also (the BYDs esp K9 single deckers have awful turning radius)

Swap the Kang Ching sector with 246 instead

So long as one figure is there, we can only dream on about procuring more bendys
it's the bus assets deputy director blocking every procurement attempt made by normal staff

can is can
although 974 merge 976 is better
The demand at Toa Payoh feeders really warrants bendies but I'm not sure if the roads inside are suitable for bendies
238 can use if lorong 7 - lorong 8 turn gets widened
302 has DD
i'm saying ideally
Why do some services strictly disallow double decks? Is it the turns too tight?
low hanging tree branches
lorong chuan (3.9m)
changi airport (3.8 or 4.0m)
commonwealth drive turn from queensway too tight for 3 axle DD but bendy bus can go in (SBS999U 195 from 1997 - 1999)
bukit batok st 52 too tight for DD (but 945 bendy can clear)
generally bendies are better at doing 90 degree turns but struggle with tight gentle curves (jurong west street 91 etc), or u turn / 3 point turn

The bendy buses on 301 are gone :(
all cos of one incident where a mandy hit the road barricades placed there for JRL construction haizz

Sadly, this will never happen, cause the blue ribbon thinks double deckers are more "economical" due to taking up less room space.
i think HSO is taking up too much space at kampong java
lta ah… when will yall learn…

Bruh why not 67???
I also 67 is getting degraded at least for weekdays.
36 during peak periods / jams needs to use bendy to reduce stress.
100 could use some bendies while 100-A have more departures or completely removed.
67 long haul + can survive as DD if need be
sbst service 100 i would deploy like six bendies
67 cannot because jam how ?
That's why 147 not included
Despite bendy suited
