Tara and John, your boys have become the grandchildren I'll never have. Thank you for raising them in the MOST vibrant and curious of ways🥰🥰🥰
Ah we love this friend. Thanks for loving our boys as much as we do ❤️❤️
@TheNewbysExplore I feel there are many adopted grandparents, aunts and uncles to your delightful boys. They have no idea of they amazing life they are living. Especially on the farm and also on your amazing travels. ❤❤❤🇦🇺
Hi Newbys! Thanks for taking me along on your adventure. I can see the boys just drinking it all in and being so aware of all the nature around them, lovely!
Thanks for joining us on this adventure Claire. It was incredible! 🦧❤️🙏🏼
In Italy many, if not all products that need oil have, literally blazened across the packet "free from" or "no palm oil"!!! Probably because they saw a significant drop in sales and asked themselves why! I have also stopped buying Nutella and Mcvities digestive biscuits.
But, they won’t remember it except through the videos.
I think I was in Indonesia when I used a blow gun, the kind they use in Borneo, to shoot at a target. I didn’t aim and hit the target close to the center. I aimed the second time and the dart failed to come close. The outlaw Billy the Kid, killed several people. He quickly drew his gun and fired without aiming. He and I must have shared the same visual anomalies.
I'm like Tara, seeing these amazing animals in their native environment would bring tears of profound joy.
Thanks Jamie! ❤️❤️
How wonderfully exciting! You open your children to all the wonders of the world. Thank you for taking us along on your journey.
Thank you so much Lena!
I took my kids overseas to see wildlife and they had a brilliant time, but now, 40 years later they remember nothing. Thank goodness you have videos to show your boys. How lovely to revisit Borneo. Thanks Newbys. Jill 🇦🇺🌻🐝
Thanks Jill! ❤️❤️
The boys may have had a lovely holiday but they are too young to remember and therefore will have to rely on the footage you keep.
@@tootsieb11That may be the case on the surface, but in their subconscious the memories will be there and will help to guide the adults they become. Nothing is forgotten ❤
What a magical trip 💚
The dichotomy between such rich, lush, incredible landscape & wildlife and the way the land is being ravaged is heartbreaking and difficult to reconcile, but, Tara, I believe that the future for your children and my grandchildren is bright. I truly believe we have reached a tipping point and that they are the generation who will heal the Earth 🌍 They are being raised by incredible parents (I include my daughters 🥰) who are so in tune with their children in a way that’s not been seen since ancient times. Have faith, the future is bright 🩵
Wether the boys will actually remember these early trips they certainly are learning to love all of the wildlife around them and surely you are planting the beginning seeds of responsibility for all our planet’s gorgeous creatures and they are sure to carry this love and connectedness with them throughout their lives. Aside from your day to day wonderful parenting, you are supporting their curiosity and I’m quite sure they will continue to seek, look and learn wherever they find themselves.❤❤❤❤😘😘😘😘
Thank you for taking us along! Crusoe and Sawyer were soaking it all in and so well behaved! 💕 Can't wait to see the elephants next week!
Thanks for watching Trish!
Dear Newby Explorers, when I first met you both Tara and John with 3 weeks old Crusoe adventuring in Scotland in your van, thought you were crazy with your little baby boy, and yet you were home in the UK, now after knowing you for over 3 years and seeing many videos on your trips around the world, I say YOU ARE A PREFECT MATCH, John's knowledge in travelling around the world matched to your Safari knowledge around Africa, Tara, evident on the last moment of this video looking at those pigmee elephants, your tears of joy and emotions, I am sure you know Asia's elephants are the biggests. Wonders of wonders never been to Malaysia visiting wildlife but you feel just at home with your boys, enriching their knowledge of our world and especially leaving your legacy to them. All I will say can't wait to watch part 2. BTW Crusoe definitely looks like John and Sawyer your mirror image Tara. Something to do with the new haircuts I am sure. Imagine ALL this beauty created by the finger of the Lord. Wonder of wonders. Greetings from the other side of the world. 🥰🙏💖🌍🌏🌎 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦
Hi Joanne. Thank you so so much for this beautiful comment. Your support from the get go has meant so much to us. Thank you for the compliments, you have put a smile on our faces tonight. See you again soon friend 🦧❤️🙏🏼
Will do can't wait for more adventures. Cheers🥰🙏💖🌄👶👱🐶🏡
I love travelling especially in the wild, but life has its own plans for us, never mind our likes or dislikes...I'm SO grateful to you for taking us along your experiences of life, guys! God bless you and keep you safe 🙏💞💞💕💕🐒🦍🐘🦜
5:07 Bless him! He thought you had come all that way to watch a nature programme on TV. your children are very sweet.
Thank you for taking us to Borneo with you-it was unbelievable.
Thanks Melanie!
The sound of the boat sliding through the water had such a soothing sound.
John, I've said it before but that haircut makes you look so handsome. I'm so glad you did it.
🙏🙏❤️❤️
Yes, it looks fabulous
Just to be different than the majority, I like it long with the man bun or ponytail. Not all men can wear their hair long but you rock it.
Amazing, thank you for taking us with you. Sawyer was adorable when he commented on the orangutan’s are like him and like spiders.
He's like me!! Be still my heart! If everyone could just see and enjoy orangutan with awe and wonder the way Crusoe and Sawyer see them!!! These beautiful orangutan would be free in the forest free from fear of losing their home! Orangutan raise and care for their babies just like we do! I pray that when these beautiful boys are grown the orangutan will still be here!! 🐘🐘🦏🦬🦦🦧🦍
The boys absolutely loved them Linda, they are so beautiful! Let’s hope that they will be here for many more years friend 🦧❤️🙏🏼
Can't wait until next week. Crusoe and Sawyer are very fortunate to grow up experiencing different cultures.
We can’t wait to share it with you too Sandra. This trip has been magical! 🦧❤️🙏🏼
What an amazing adventure for you especially the boys. You are not only educating the boys but most of us as well. I will definitely be looking at label ingredients in future to avoid palm oil.
John, your short haircut and glasses give us Russel Crow looks as a professor. That is a compliment by the way!
This video was a welcomed escape from our very cold and heavily rainy day.
Much love to you all.❤
Thank you for sharing this amazing journey. Crusoe and Sawyer are so good and so well behaved their love and enthusiasm for nature is just wonderful and that’s down to you both. What a lovely rehabilitation centre, it’s so good that there are places like this that can help these poor animals ❤
Thank you guys, thank you thank you❤❤
Borneo travelling down the jungle river, hearing the wild birds and seeing jungle flora, viewing monkeys, was truly Amazing... with the two young jungle Newbys warriors.
Love it Lesley! ❤️❤️
Hi Tara and John, I completely understand wanting to see the wildlife in their own environment. What an amazing experience that must have been! We’ve done Southern Africa many times. There’s nothing better than waking up with the sounds of nature and observe the animals. We’re going to see the lemurs in Madagascar next Easter holiday. Looking forward to part 2, seeing the elephants… 🥰
Wow! That was fun! More please 🙏! Thank you for sharing! The boys have had more amazing experiences in their short little lives than most adults have. It brings me joy to watch them. They are amazing!
Thanks Lauren!
What over already. I was mesmerized. Kids are great travelers. Take care.
Thank you Marjorie. More next Friday when the boys have an epic elephant experience. ❤️❤️🦧🦧
I see at the end, Tara, you with tears..I was almost at that point with just the serenity and the boys’ experiencing the river journey.. I think when you experience the elephants my heart may explode with joy for you all. Blessings to you and the world you’re exploring 🙏🏽
🙏🙏🦧🦧❤️❤️
The river ride was my favorite. Peaceful and hearing the wildlife around. Just amazing.
Thanks Debra! ❤️❤️
AMAZING!!! Thank you for taking me to places I can only dream about going.
Tara crying😅w/ happiness. Oh my heart.
Those boys are brave and ready for adventure. Not all children that age have that ability (and to sit quietly… Wow!). Hats off parents!
Hello John, Tara, Crusoe, & Sawyer❤❤❤❤ 😮 so much going on, I could tell that you and John were really excited and the boys too, getting the ground broken and the foundation laid is a big step. Then it will just be construction every day till it’s done , it’s a big job but little by little it will get done and you will have your beautiful home. I am so glad that you have great men working for you that you can trust it’s gonna be great. 😅👍 bjs
Simply breathtaking scenery on the river ❤ just wow
Thanks Tina! ❤️❤️
I just absolutely love all the Newbys ,, boys, hair cuts.
John's short hair cut, he looks so.... handsome with his new short hair cut.
.young Crusoe and toddler Sawyer's new short hair cuts, look really cool and smart too .
Hi Newby's, I think you were saying, it’s where they belong. My heart breaks for the wild orangs.
Thank G d for that rehab center. I love that your boys are so engaged with animals big and small.
All important to our planet. Can’t wait for the next episode. Love and hugs. 🦧❤🦧❤🦧❤
Yes, 🙏 thank you! ❤️❤️
Love this and totally understand the draw. My kids were preteens when I took them to Tanjung Puting NP in Kalimantan (Indonesia Borneo). 3 days living aboard a klotok in the middle of the jungle (truly, think African Queen), stopping off to hike into the jungle to see orangutans, proboscis monkeys galore, gibbons, other wonderful wildlife and incredible scenery. I'm 55 and semi well-travelled but hands down was the most magical experience of my life. I still get teary thinking about it 🤩
Wow is all I can say. How utterly gorgeous! Thank you for sharing! Xoxo
Omg. Sawyer’s hiking boots just DID ME IN. I don’t not think I have ever seen anything cuter ❤
❤️❤️
Wow, what an amazing trip. I live vicariously through others and this was awesome. I was in tears, I loved it so much.
The boys have been so well behaved and Sawyer is so serious 😊.
Such cutie pies, what a wonderful trip this is for them to explore.
Ready for next Friday to be here. Love to you all, enjoy every minute ❤❤❤. Tricia
Glad you enjoyed it Tricia! Thanks!!
Well sunshine the boys are having fun 🌞😮😮and what a place Borneo ☕️👍
Beautiful memories as a família ❤
❤️❤️❤️

Thanks for being here Kathy. This trip was amazing! See you soon where we share more about our encounter with the elephants 🐘 ❤️
Looks like a great time had by all! The boys are such little cuties.
Wowww. Its amazing. U guys r really enjoying it. Great for boys to c the animals. Sawyer is such a cute little boy. Growing up so fast. Crusoe off course a big boy😊 who loves his brother.
What a journey you have done. The rainforest must be awsome to see. And Hurray for Crusoe to lernt to swim. The kiddows are lucky to have so smart and brilliant parents ❤️
It was magical friend! Something so incredible to be able to see 🦧❤️🙏🏼
Love these videos with animals in their environment. Thank you for educating us on nature and ways to save our earth!
Thanks for watching!
I think it's great you take your boys on these trips and explore this wonderful world that God made for us and all the memories they will have. Love from Virginia ♥️
Thanks Barbara. We are so proud of our boys, they were amazing on this trip 🦧❤️🙏🏼
Oh what a privelege those little ones have that you are able to take them to different parts of the world. It is just beautiful there. You can almost feel that peace and love even if we are not even there. ❤
Brilliant video. I also got emotional when I first saw elephants in the wild; so incredibly beautiful. 🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
Thanks so much for watching Maude, this trip was magical and we can’t wait to share more about the elephants with you soon 🦧❤️🙏🏼
Thank you Tara and John for taking us along. Enjoy seeing your family so much. Watching you build a life in Portugal and traveling the world with your boys. Thank you so much for taking us so long. Anyway, I just wanted to say again I really love John’s hair. Cut It really looks good on him so please let him know.
Thank you Kathy! Will do. ❤️❤️❤️☺️
What an adventure, aside from all the experiences, and people skills the boys are learning you are enriching their language skills too. Sawyer asleep in the boat - magical and so,so sweet. And, sorry John, Tara is right. 😊
Loved seeing Sepilok again guys, thank you. The vets & helpers do great work on rehabilitating the orphans. This area of the world is where you see for yourself deforestation & plight of one of the must amazing animals the orangutan. Please check ingredients in food you're buying & avoid those that contain palm oil. We must help however we can. Thank you John & Tara for bringing this sad plight to so many 🦧. We took our son aged 6 at the time, he's now 24 & the sign he & I use to check in on each other is 🦧.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful! Such a sad yet hopeful situation for wildlife in Borneo and Thailand. Glad you brought up the palm oil problem, Tara, and reminded us all that our choices are important and make such a difference to life elsewhere on the planet; something Sir David Arrenborough has been encouraging us all for years not only to be aware of and think about, but to follow through with responsible, caring action. How special for Crusoe and Sawyer to see all this in person. Their enjoyment and expressions are priceless, Tara, I felt the emotions you were experiencing as you arrived and realized the beginning of the fulfillment of a dream. Thank you for sharing that dream with us.🌹
So true Elizabeth ❤️❤️
Tara, John, so great to be travelling with y'all. Incredible vid. Can't wait to see the elephants next week.
Crusoe & and Sawyer, as always, are just amazing. Crusoe is so focused & intent on the boat & Sawyer's expressions are simply priceless. 😅 btw...love Sawyer's haircut. Tara, u r surrounded by handsome dudes. Big & l'il. 😊
❤️❤️❤️
Had to write as I’m watching your trip to Thailand
Couldn’t help having tears of joys watching the moments the boys in the water
You are such a beautiful family
It was a very precious and my favourite video yet
I never miss a episode and love watching
Thank you❤❤❤❤
Thank you Diane ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love your boys and well done to Crusoe learning to swim.
Was beautiful to see. Thank you
Brilliant video! Thank you for showing how endangered orangutans are helped. Everyone should view this.
Thank you. 🙏
So fortunate for your family to experience nature in its original form in exotic places, very few have the opportunity to see through their own eyes. Nothing compares. I can vouch for that! PLUS... you are building a new home in Portugal! Wishing you the very best in this new year.
You are exactly right it’s much better to see them in their natural habit. The travel you do with your boys is a wonderful life experience for them and your videos documents the times they can look back on in their life. Keep up the good work in making little voyagers of your two sons. Time spent with your children is precious ❤
Thailand's destination location looks like a paradise of beauty.
Wonderful news Crusoe learnt how to swim in Thailand . Well Do one Crusoe🏊
Wow, what a great trip! Love how you're teaching your boys about the world we live in! It's very important and they will no doubt grow up to appreciate animals and different cultures. Sawyer is so cute. He seem's very serious and shy, where Crusoe is very independent and curious. They are both very Brave boys though! Love to see them learning new things. Can't wait until next week's video!
Thanks so much!
Hola ,que bonitos momentos,y el lindo Oby con quien se quedo, los debe estar exrrañando muchisim.o😢❤ Bendiciones
I feel like this is the best videos of your fam exploring, I’ve been watching your videos for years now ! Wow cried too!!! What an amazing world

Simply wow. I teared up at the end as elefants are my favourite animal. Can’t wait for the next vlog
❤️❤️
Tara, you must be so proud of your three boys with their super-cool identical haircuts! Great look chaps. Just right for the wonderful adventures you're sharing with us.
Quite right Wendy! ❤️❤️
What a beautiful episode ❤ so special to see that gorgeous wildlife!! Thank you for sharing with us ❤❤❤❤
Hope you all enjoy the holiday very much!
Thanks Melinda! ❤️❤️
It’s so touching, watching these cute animals! They are so fascinating, you could watch them for hours on end!
What an epic trip! So fascinating and I can't wait for the next installment. I noticed that Sawyer is sadly missing his baby curls. Now he is a proper little man.
He is indeed a little man now friend ❤️❤️
Loved this one! The boys are still young enough to forget these trips, but if you keep showing this to them, they will eventually recall it for themselves. Those proboscis monkeys really should be renamed, "Pinocchio" Monkeys, lol. So cute! What a trip of a lifetime! Love watching your sons' reactions to it all!
Thanks Gwen! 🤥❤️❤️🙏🦧
Great video, thank you for taking us along! See you next time, much love from Michigan ❤️ ❤❤
Absolutely loved this video. First of all well done Crusoe as a former lifeguard and instructor you did amazing swimming across the pool x The education you are giving your boys for their future brilliant life lessons and education. Borneo orang-utan rescue that is in the wild...love it x
Thank you friend! We are so proud of our little guy swimming across the pool 😁🙌🏼
Thank you so much for taking me to Borneo. The rain forest is magnificent. Love the orangutans ❤️🇨🇦
Thanks Dawn!
It's always so amazing to me the places that you take your two sons. What a great experiential education you are giving them . And they are such well-behaved little boys as I said before you guys are really great parents . And I want you to know how much I enjoyed this video. Blessings and love from New Mexico
I hear ya John. I completely understand what you mean when you say you feel like you are visiting the orangutan at home. I love it. Well done you. What a wonderful thing to do as a family.
❤
Hi guys, glad that you are taking the kids to see these things, and that you are videoing the trips as I know that later they may not remember the trips directly. I mention this because my parents took me to America when I was young, perhaps 2 years old, so when people ask me if I have been, I say, 'Yes, but I don't remember it.' I'm not sure how old our long term awareness or memory starts, but for me it was at about 4-5 years old.
The Orangutan visit was more like the humans being in a cage. Lovely.
🦧❤️🙏🏼
Gosh the boys are just getting so big and so smart! I haven’t seen one moment of Crusoe getting a random nap in 😂… but it kinda makes me sad… he’s growing so fast. And Sawyer just sitting in the boat like a big boy with his shoes on. Kind of weird not seeing them barefoot 😂 I thoroughly enjoyed this video!! ❤ Such special moments.
Crusoe loves being busy Tara haha no time for naps! Thanks so much for watching friend, we will see you again on Friday 😁🙏🏼🐘
@ can’t wait!
Absolutely fabulous Newbys. What an adventure you're on x
❤️❤️❤️🦧❤️
How special. Not just educating the boys but us too 🙏♥️
❤️❤️🙏🙏🦧
Hi John and Tara… wow what a marvellous experience for you all to see the orang utan in their natural habitat and I cannot wait to see the elephants next week! So special for you all. The sound of the jungle as you passed through on the boat was wonderful. Crusoe and Sawyer are brilliant. Best wishes and ❤ to all Julie 😊
Hi Julie. We had an absolutely incredible time! Loved every minute of it. Thanks for all your support friend 🦧❤️🙏🏼
Wow I loved this video great job guys. Well done Crusoe learning to swim that’s so impressive at your age. Aww Tara darling you got so emotional, big hugs. Lots of love to you all Lisa xxx ❤❤❤
Thanks Lisa! ❤️❤️
Wow! Thanks Newbys. That was awesome. Sawyer was so brave in the boat, melted my heart. 💛
Thanks Sue! Sawyer loved the boat!

Thanks Dorinda ❤️❤️
As always, I’ve enjoyed traveling with you both and the boys. Cheers!
Thanks for joining us Leo! We can’t wait to share more with you soon 🦧❤️🙏🏼
It is wonderful to see your boys and their experiences that you are both giving them. My travel days are over as my mobility isn’t as it should be for someone my age
So cool, elephants make me cry too, the animals are all so amazing! Thank you for sharing!
We can’t wait to show you more about the elephants friend! ❤️❤️
What an epic experience for you and the boys! Love the sounds of all the animals while on the river! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
I am so grateful that you are talking about the awful consequences palm oil has on our all wildlife. We all use it, many people don't even know. But, is the loss of the Orag Utan species worth the cookies? You all can make a difference 🦧
You are quite right friend! Thanks for the support 🦧❤️🙏🏼
Yes, you are great teachers. Great job!
Exciting trip! Love the boys haircuts. I enjoyed this as if I was with you. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much!
This is so cool! I went to this place also in early 2000. Iove orangatangs!!! ❣️Sawyer is so cute💕
We did this trip a few years ago for my 50th. I felt really privileged to be able to experience these animals “at home”. Love revisiting this with you and your family.
Well said Linda. Thank you ❤️❤️
Så trevlig resa ni har gjort, spännande för pojkarna med alla vilda djur.❤
Thank you guys for sharing your trip with us! I’ll never be able to travel to such places and I just love being able to go along with you. Crusoe and Sawyer are so well behaved for small children, and they are learning so much! I loved seeing Crusoe learning to swim! These videos will be such a lovely memory for them in the future! Thanks again and looking forward to next weeks video! Much Love ❤️
Look at that... four beautiful smiles!!!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️☺️
Sorry Tara - John was closer to the correct pronunciation - I googled it. The 'c' is silent.
I love the way you are bringing up your kids. They are so confident and free to explore - lovely to see 2 boys living life with no cottonwool wrapped around them!
Living life precariously through your adventures. 😊
Thank you for sharing your experience with us and showing these wonderful images 😊.
Omg absolutely amazing the tears in you're eyes Tara so moving thank you for bringing us along to this amazing destination with you're beautiful family Crusoe and sawyer are a real credit to you I could only imagine going on this life changing holiday hope you all have an amazing holiday because you deserve every moment lots of love sent Emma Jayne Xxxxxx❤
