I was 21, now 60. Just finished college, like they did in the movie. Every time I hear this or the instrumental I tear up. Maybe just me, but even then, I felt the 80’s were going to be the best decade we would see in our lifetime.

It is interesting how in those days of high school and other times in our young lives, we never really imagined that we were living the most beautiful days of our lives!

I was 10 when this movie came out and didn't fully understand the depth of it given my age. I'm 49 now... and I totally got it in my 20s as I was experiencing this for myself. I watch the movie often as I have it on DVD. One of my favorites. Never will there be movies like the ones from the 1980s. I'm glad I was around for it.
