    Savage job Declan, some difference. Little tip to save time in the future, look for a turbo head for your lance. They make all the different when washing yards and sheds. 👍

    • @IDoAgri
      @IDoAgri  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Cheers Adrian, I saw the turbo nozzle on your video i must get one of them alright. Do you run your washer at 540 or 1000rpm and is there a different turbo nozzle to suit either?

    • @IFarmWeFarm
      @IFarmWeFarm ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@IDoAgri you can run on both, I fitted a 2/1 reduction gear box to mine which gave you full 3000psi at 1300 rpm (540)
      You can also get 3/1 and possibly 4/1 gearbox nowadays. Save a lot on fuel. Turbo heads are generally all the same, about €60 but worth there weight in gold. Make sure to drain out the washer well before the frost comes too

    Great job with that washer. If you fit a turbo nozzle it will wash far quicker and better for sheds.

    Quick tip for the future, soak dirty surfaces well, up to 12 hrs ahead of planned washing and look for and use a turbo wobble tip for your lance. Both of these points will speed up your work and save water.
    Lastly as winter is approaching fast winterise you pump thoroughly so frost does not ruin the casing and mechanism - totally draining everything is the best.

    Great job Declan, just another tip plan if using your washer not to be running on idel.
    Water not flowing through the washer if idel for goid few minutes can overheat the brass head on the washer and the valves can get damage.
    Just when you've shoveling heavy dung away and power washing at same time.
    A bit of awareness not to let it run idel too long.
    Power washer brilliant asset on the farm!!

    What made you choose the herdwick sheep Declan? And can you make videos for beginners about your sheep and sheep in general? 😁👍🏻

    • @IDoAgri
      @IDoAgri  ปีที่แล้ว

      I find them remarkably beautiful but not only that they are extremely hardy sheep and I guess I like a challenge. My grandad was a texel man but when lambing them as a child on the farm I found there heads were often too big making lambing troublesome. I tried to start my own flock with help from my grandad a couple times going for some Charolais that didnt work out well and I did get a few texels you can see in older videos but its not easy to start a flock these days and I decided if I was to start small I would want to start with a fine few purebred sheep. The value of rare breeds also seemed a better outcome for such a small flock compared to commercials. Im not saying im right and i dont think my grandfather would agree with much i just said but you have to try new things and see what sticks. Thanks Seany

      @Seany596 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@IDoAgri very interesting thanks for the reply declan. I was recommended by the sheep sheperd that you can't go wrong with the cheviot or the lleyn but I agree with you your breed of sheep are a good choice.

    The one thing I noticed about power washing is that once you start, your forever power washing 😂... I dunno is it because you blow all the fine material and sand and stuff off the walls and stuff... but once you've started, it seems to get dirty no bother from then on 😂😂
