Doing a yz450f rebuild of my own, got a bit of oil coming through the piston rings and giving me blue smoke and dodgy compression, was looking at the similar Chinese cylinder and piston combo for significantly cheaper than the high performance. How were the fitments off or what was wrong about the size?
The cylinder fit ok, biggest problem I ran into is they didn't machine enough space for the factory nuts on the side of the cylinder . I initially ordered the wrong kit so the piston was for a 06-09 . I ended up buying a namura piston which seemed better quality. I guess I'll find out if the chinese cylinder is any good when I start it in the spring. Thanks for watching.
