- In July, the Pentagon effectively banned the Confederate flag on U.S. bases and pledged to address diversity and increase inclusivity in the ranks of the military. Still, more than half of the troops of color who participated in a 2019 survey said that they had experienced white nationalism or racism in the U.S. military. Vladimir Duthiers spoke with some service members and veterans of different races, ranks, regions and religions about their experiences as troops of color.

I served with Gen. Pattard when he was the commander of 3rd BDE 1st I.D. Truly and amazing leader and officer.
That is a fact, as a senior NCO I was relieved as top dog when I used the post commanders open door policy to complain of harsher punishment for minorities under UCMJ.

I was in the military with thirteen years of federal service. I'm white. Racial discrimination really exist, but it works both ways. I have watched whites getting attacked and I have been attacked, because I'm white. I'm sick of the news saying that only whites can discriminate. The vast majority of blacks in the military were really good people and good workers. It is the same way with everyone. But, there are some people of all races that are discriminatory, those are the bad people. Not white people as this video makes it look like. I'm sick of these racist videos.
Totally, MSM and left wingers have created this monster of Systemic racism and I'm sick of it. Ok you hate the Confederate flag I can make an effort to sympathize but next thing you know the BLM and 1619ist are gonna have us getting rid of the Stars and Stripes! This works both ways and as I see it since WW2 racial integration has come a long way.
