One of the few modern bands that really understand the sense of Metal and the clarity of riffs. The breakdown is just right, not overkilled as too many bands now do it.

Kyllä. Heal oli loistava ja Godsend jatkoi samaa enemmän tai vähemmän mutta Your Highness oli kokonaisuudessaan vähän meh. Vaikka tässä biisissä on kyllä enempi Your Highnessin fiilistä kuin aiempien levyjen mutta silti pirun kova.
I've been a fan of this band for years now, but I'm skeptical about the direction they took after the masterpiece that is Godsend. This song seems to be following up on Your Highness, which, apart from Drag Me The Rain, really wasn't what I had expected.. but I still have hopes for the next album nevertheless.
I’m also not a fan of this new sound, but Antti Nenonen left the band after Godsend. It’s a different band right now. I’d rather expect another YH rather than Heal/Godsend.

Kinda feel you, Godsend was definitely their highpoint so far. But I also kinda dig their new style, although I admit it's rather different. I'm still excited for what's to come, Godsend existing doesn't get less valuable because of the band developing in a different direction stilistically, imo more of the opposite, I prefer a band evolving in ways that keeps them relevant and interesting over someone just sticking to what works and never taking risks. And the old stuff doesn't disappear just because the newer stuff is different.

But at the same time I was hoping that they don't divert too much from the essence of the band, if that makes any sense.

Am I the only one who does not like the high pitched guitar? Also it somehow reminds me of Kings and Queens. It’s a different band now, not for me. I'll listen to some more Godsend.
@@damiendelvallee7256 I'm not sure if I get the difference between tune and tone. I think its the tone of this one particular guitar. It starts around 1:03. And it's everywhere on the previous album. 'Leaves' at 1:32 'Nightmares are dreams too' at 0:59 'K&Q' at 0:40 and so on. I like when it plays a fast melody/solo like in their older songs or 'Drag me the Rain' or 'Leave out all the rest' on the last album, but this slow high sounds are irritating for me.
