Hell yeah! So glad you finally checked this album out. It's one of my all time favorites for sure, absolute perfection 🔥 You'll like the last emotional ones as well on further listens :) They unfortunately only have a few other songs, but they're also worth checking out! Keep up the great vids man, cheers!
Now for Pridelands - Light Bends then \m/ Didn't expect this but glad you checked it out. Too underrated. Maybe you'll do their Cold Sanctuary EP as well. For You makes a lot more sense when paired Damien since they fit together thematically/are about the same topic. RIP Damien
So bloody cool to see you champion this album. Small, country town lads who are so underrated. Incredible to see them get such hype internationally - it feels like it’s well overdue! So excited to see what they put out next.
Just discovered them, and wow! I just listened to their whole discography and its so good You should do their EP too, its an absolute journey. The last two tracks are just massive vibes, so good. But the whole thing slaps.
Such an incredible record! I can’t believe there are barely any reactions to it. For me this album picks up where The Dark Pool left off since I wasn’t a fan of Heroine
Someone mentioned Pridelands - Light Bends, and I’ll second that. Drew if you thought this reminded you of The Dark Pool? Wait til you hear Light Bends. It’s easily one of the best metalcore albums I’ve ever heard, definitely scratched that Thornhill itch when they first released Casanova (I hated that song lol)
Egos weight is an absolutely amazing album i cant even count how many times ive run through the album front to back. They are also fantastic live, i hope they come to where you are one day. Next album they make id say they get a chance to come overseas!
I’m so glad someone finally reacted to this, this album came out in 2021 and I was like “ how in the hell has nobody reacted to this or even really heard of it?” If you want another pure metalcore album that is amazing give Abbie Falls “hell is other people” EP a listen, soooo good
To whoever keeps asking me why I watch reaction channels, this is exactly why. I never would have found this gem if not for Drew and whoever suggested it to him, so thanks to both. This album fucking rips!
Looking forward to watching this, though just been listening to an old favourite of mine and realised you’ve never reacted to them and I know you’ll love them. Sikth : Where do we fall
@@DrewFortune97 some of their new tracks aren’t so good, which are probably the ones you’ve heard. Most of the ‘Death of a Dead Day’ album is great. They effectively started djent with Gojira, so their first 2 albums are best!
Definitely some impressive guitar work and drums. But personally I prefer more chaotic and technical guitar work from bands like archspire and reflections. But hey, my music taste has changed in the past year, for better of for worse 😂
Legend mate thanks for checking us out ❤️
My pleasure fellas, incredible work 💜
This album is insane, can't wait to hear what these guys have in store next.
Ayooo fellas! Looking forward to checking out the next single ;)
Omg. I'm so glad you listened to this. This is one of my favorite albums of the last 10 years.
Pleasant surprise! Local boys to me, can't wait to see them live again this Friday, they are a really great live band.

Thank you dude!❤️🙏🏻
Had never heard of this band or album. But been jamming it since you dropped this video. Fantastic album.

+1 for light bends
Amazing album. Next-
Above, Below - The Lotus Chapters
So happy you checked this album, this band is so damn underrated man, it's crazy, other reaction channels skipped this one
Insanely so man, can’t believe there’s not more videos on them!
@@DrewFortune97 Also, this album sorta sounds like a mix of Thornhill and Holding Absence with a bit of Northlane if it makes sense he-he

Love these guys. Fantastic music
Love these guys! Thanks for checking out!
Most underrated metalcore album of the last few years. It fucking rocks.
Just discovered them, and wow! I just listened to their whole discography and its so good

The last page is so beautiful
The riffage reminds me so much of the dark pool, not gonna sleep on these guys
Bruh it's such an incredible album. Bjggest surprise Ive ever had on first listen
Been loving the production lately brother! Every video is looking better
Thank you my man❤️ learning every day - need to nail something down soon though😂 something changes every single video lol
@@DrewFortune97 haha I hear that man. I’m a photographer for a living and I still haven’t gotten everything down. Always growing 🙌🏻
This is one of my all time favourites
What’s the best pure Metalcore album you’ve heard in 2023?🤔
Between Heavener and Sleep Token (If it's even considered metal anymore). Both albums blew my mind and have been on repeat since release
Heavener and no other i think for now. Mother by VoM was good but didn't last for a long on being as good for me
mother pt.4 by vom, if it is considered metalcore lol
I think Heavener even tops Sleep Token for me so far… only just, but…
@@JonaKebab agreed man, Heavener is beyond AOTY for me
Eyyyy bro I see you with that elgato arm ;) imma have to check these boyz out
No fucking way wtf, i was just listening to this right now and decided to look up if you’ve listened to it
Have heard them a year ago, and was initially hooked - but now I realize, that they have so many more good songs that I´ve missed 😳
seeing them live in 2 days !! exited
Now we need that Breakdown of Sanity full album reaction, Perception is out of this world
Purple Static have been played a lot when i discovered it, such a jam
Automata was so especial to me! the best song of the entire album, this band is so underrated

Heard some of their tracks on stream bro! Been fairly hot & cold from what I remember 🥶🥵

The whole album is amazing ❤
🖤🖤🖤
Love the video and album!! Question what are the two light fixtures you have in the back? They really make the room pop!!
It’s like thornhill and amity affliction’s lead vocalists’ bore a baby- this is what their spawn would be
Love the hair, you look younger and relaxed.
Dude you should definitely check out Of Mice and Men's album Echo if you haven't. I'm sure you'll like it.
I saw these guys with loathe in Australia and man they threw down
Pridelands- parallel lines
Drew, please try The Gray by DeadVectors
check out 'Chronicles" by void of vison. another aussie band that'll blow your mind!!
You should also check their red EP
Heavener and Currents are on my top rn. I’ll see what this does to me compared to those two albums
This album didn't actually release this year, he just listened to it this year
Definitely some impressive guitar work and drums. But personally I prefer more chaotic and technical guitar work from bands like archspire and reflections.
But hey, my music taste has changed in the past year, for better of for worse 😂
didnt think album come out in 2021?
this Album cannot be Album of the year 2023. it was released in 2021🤣🤣🤣
Who said it was album of the year for 2023??
Damn this is pretty cool. Thank you for recc my dude. 🫡
Gonna spin this at work today.
My pleasure bro! Gotta shout out Brandon Ralph’s who put me onto this🤝🏻
@@DrewFortune97 ah yes, good ol’ Brandon. That legend.
