What if you use lemon before cooking and salt+pepper after cooking together

IIRC, the game checks if the salt and pepper was used properly before checking for the lemon, so I believe it should still give the "Using the Salt and Pepper After Cooking" dialogue.

what happens when you use 2 fire flowers to cook the steak instead of the grill?

Two regular fire flowers is only enough to cook one side of the meat fully (assuming you get excellent both times). However, if you use two big fire flowers instead, you can cook both sides just like the grill.

None, actually. After each dialogue, I quit the game without saving, allowing me to do the cutscene all over again without having to spend any money.
