After posting this video I noticed that PolarPro is currently running (as of 2/7/21) a fantastic deal on Summit through their online store: *$100 off, plus a free $199 10-stop ND filter.* No idea how long this deal will last, but thought it was worth sticking to the top of the comments here if you were thinking about picking one up! *Here's the link:* bit.ly/39K8CWM

I also have the Summat system. The thing I struggle with is how to carry it in my kit. If I want to bring the system with a grad, ND64, ND1000 I end up with lots of little pouches. Have you found a good way to consolidate any of these?

I bought this kit, put it on my RF 15-35mm 2.8, the cp installed scratched my lens and poloar pro said "its not compatible with that lens". Yeah, great customer service when the equipment is flawed.

Adjust the polarizer before putting on the filter holder.

For your information, the Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM lens does not work well at the 16mm focal length, the image will be affected from the sides due to the frame, except for this kit is excellent

@@richardclarke2670 I think with Canon @ 16mm there is no same Sony lens @ 16mm problem Try it yourself

Nice video, very insightful! I actually wonder if this system would work on a Nikon 14-30mm lens at 14mm? The lens itself is 82mm and I'm assuming using an 82mm thread plate will cause vignetting. but what if I use a 95mm thread plate with an 82mm to 95mm adapter? Will that fix the problem?

I think the ability to remove the polarizer while the holder is attached is missing from this product.

I can see that. Seems like there’s always some downside with each option. Just have to pick the one that is best aligned with your workflow.

Anybody else having problems securing the adapter rings to the front of their lense?
Both the 77 and 82mm do not appear to have a threaded interior to the ring. Consequently, do not feel secure enough and can easily be removed by a small amount of pull. Concerns me, as should it fall off when holding the filters could prove to be extremely expensive.

    • @dominey

The adapter threads are thin to keep the width down, so they have to be aligned just right to get them going. Have you tried a different lens? Are you threading the adapter onto the lens or to a filter? I just tried the 77mm Summit adapter and it does thread on and stays there (don't come off when pulling it), so there might be something with the particular lens you're trying.

Are you trying to screw it from the wrong side? Polarpro lettering should face your camera.
