The library news is thrilling! I’ve lived 1/2 block from a fantastic library for the past 20 years and it has been lovely. When I started doing research on possibly moving to Horizon West in the next few years, I specifically searched for libraries in that area and was so disappointed to not find any! I hadn’t heard about one being built there till now! So exciting!! Now Horizon West officially has everything I need, lol! Thank you both for Coffee Time. I’m unable to watch it live most weeks, but I usually watch it at lunchtime the same day. Sending positive thoughts to you both!
Hi Eric and Amy. I just want to say and I probably don’t have to say is stay positive and don’t give up. My Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer a few years ago when he was 83. He had a large tumor in his lung and a tumor in his brain. The cancer also spread to his bones. He had a cyber knife treatment for his brain and Keytruda immunotherapy. Initially the immunotherapy didn’t seem to work, we braced ourselves for the worst and he was wheelchair bound but continued with the immunotherapy. Then a couple of weeks later, the Keytruda started to work. He got stronger, started to walk up stairs again. The tumor was smaller and months later he was deemed cancer free. It was an emotional rollercoaster to say the least. We are praying for you and your family. Eric has a great attitude which is so important. God bless. ❤
Mashed potatoes, creamy made with cream cheese and sour cream. Pumpkin pie with lots of cool whip, no sweet potatoes or yams, we do butternut squash. Wishing you the best for Thanksgiving. Prayers for Eric and your family.
I'm more of a stuffing and green bean casserole gal myself. I really hope Eric has an appetite to partake in some of his favorites. Absolutely sending good vibes and U of Miami is going to accept him. The hospital is close to the Brightline station so it may be even easier for you guys to go for visits than Jacksonville anyway!
We also purchased our Santa Clara, California house about one week before Thanksgiving, 26 years ago. I did hear about your visit to San Francisco. I was born at the former Presidio Army Letterman Hospital in San Francisco. I have also been to Alcatraz. The view of the north side of my native city is amazing from Alcatraz. Our house will be paid off in less than 4 years. We will probably sell and move to the backyard of Disneyland, California. I will miss living behind Levi’s Stadium. We currently have a short 15 minute walk to the stadium from our house. We will look at some old vintage Craftsman Cottages in Southern California.
Sweet potato, no lumps and pumpkin pie 😁🥧🥧🥧🥧🥧
Still sending Eric and Amy prayers, encouragement & virtual hugs. Loved the babies outfits. They are adorable!
