- I wasn't sure if I would love this as much as Lost On You, but OMG, I love it! I feel like I was getting saved by LP in the muddy waters after listening to this song. Something so bluesy about this one and I figured by the title that's what she was dishing out. I can't wait to react to more songs from her. These live performances are giving me LIFE!

LP is an absolute gem of an artist. Thanks for doing a reaction on them. If you like their more soulful songs, I recommend "One Night in the Sun", "Recovery", or "The One that You Love". I hope you get to hear them live in person one day. It's an absolute experience. I believe their bassist from this video is still with them, and I hear the band is very close.
Also as a side note, if you like LP and metal, you can also listen to their recent collab with The Hu. They're a Mongolian metal band who use both modern and old Mongolian instruments like Morin Khuur (horsehead fiddle). The song with LP is called "Mother Nature".

I highly suggest watching LP music video Tokyo sunrise. Her range and massive lung capacity is on display in tokyo sunrise. Her mother is an opera singer and it shows in that song.
I had no idea her mom was an opera singer, that’s so interesting. Sounds like music has been in her life from the beginning. I’ll check out Tokyo Sunrise. No one has suggested that one yet, so thank you!
I always feel so happy when someone gets to listen to LP because I just know they are in for a beautiful experience LP is so amazing and unique I been to two concerts of her and is an amazing experience to see her hear her live so emocional and you are right she doesn't have a bad song, besides doing halo I wanted to recommend her song strange live I think you'll appreciate that one too

You are so lucky to see her live 2 x. When did you start listening to her? I am so glad my client recommended her to me. When someone suggests an artist and says “listening to her will change your life!” I know there’s some deep connection going on there. She’s just full of so much soul & what a great storyteller she is. I’m devastated we won’t be able to see her live this tour. And I’ll definitely check out strange, that’s hasn’t been suggested yet. And I like her live better than the studio version. That’s when you know you are absolutely hearing magic from an artist.
@Metalheadmandi I started following her on 2019 and I got to see her live for the first time on November 14 2020 it was a driving concert because of the pandemic but it was awesome couldn't believe such a voice came out of such a tiny person she's very petite.
I have 3 daughters and they were the ones who introduced LP music to me and I have been a fan ever since

She is so amazing and talented. I am a superman, no doubt, however I do not know how I feel about #Lovelines.. it's not really like all the rest, having a hard time connecting to the new album and it's tearing me up.
I’ve heard other people say they aren’t a fan of Love Lines too 😬😬😬 Honestly I love the 2 songs I’ve done love way better than studio versions. Maybe she’ll do some of the new album live and it will give it a different feel. Is it more pop sounding?
@Metalheadmandi yes!! There are 2 songs that I have completely fallen in love with but I'm not used to her releasing an album that I didn't love ALL the songs of so it's kinda difficult for me, being a major major superfan for years and years. It doesn't scare me away tho, it'll take more than just 1 album to turn me away lol. I don't really know what happened with this one, I hope fame hasn't gotten to far into her head. I'd hate to see her change in any kind of way!! I hope she still does her other songs live because I see her again in Pheonix on the 22nd of Novemeber!! So excited to see her AGAIN!! STOKED!!
@Metalheadmandi being a musician/singer myself, I still honestly can't put my finger on what's so different, but it is. Maybe just a weird mixture of pop and hippy, just doesn't hit me right I guess. Still I love her so so much, I know she'll turn it back around.

@Metalheadmandi What's bringing you to Tucson? I like it here! 😆 BUT the 2 songs I do like are Hold the light and Blow. Neither one have videos yet. Hold the light just has some really great lyrics but no really good runs and Blow brings out a little bit of the LP powerhouse about 3/4 of the way through the song. Let me know what you think!
This is a different band at that venue. I've seen some of her livestream performances with a different band that I think they do travel with her, they always look like the same guys. Now the Halo different band completely. Personally I don't care for the Halo song and LP live for me just didn't click. But she is still the bomb and unique. sometimes it just doesn't work, most time it does. :) ♥

@@Metalheadmandi Well since you asked. LOL here goes. I just wasn't a fan of the Halo song, even though LP's performance was really good, LP was really quite energetic in that one. I just wasn't really enjoying it for some reason. Now for some really good ones. **My absolute ♥favorite live by LP is "Shaken" (from Nov 14, 2020 livestream concert) is outstanding and she was pretty animated here also, a great band! I love the band!
