    Excellent information, thanks. In this regard I have a doubt, if you use a regulator adjusted to 160 bar, does it mean that you can no longer fill the tank at 200 bar? The rifle is a Hatsan Bullboss cal 25. Greetings.

    Great video . Just have some questions . Actually i shoot between 50 to 100 yards . So while ordering this product what pressure do you suggest ? And what pellet weight will be perfect for my set up .

    Me puedes ayudar ????

    Buen vídeo.
    Cuál es la diferencia entre los tubos del aire del año 2012 y los del 2018 en adelante ???

    Mine leaks after install. I did file the grooves and a notch on the air cylinder. The leak is from the air cylinder. I did use ChristoLube for the oil rings. Any help is appreciated thanks.

    Does the bullboss hammer spring operate and adjust the same as the at44?

    Hi brother. I have a Hasan AT44 and how do you open the back end if the air cylinder tube. I can open the end with the regulator that goes into the rifle, but can’t open the back end. If you don’t mind show me how to open it. Thanks bye

    Hey is it possible to place a regulator gage on the bt65sb?

    I just installed one today and got to thinking about hammer spring tension. If when regulated the hammer just releases the air in the plenum why dose it matter what the hammer spring tension is as long as its set strong enough to release the air in the plenum. See what I'm getting at? Why would more pressure matter ? ware and tare? or maybe hammer bounce? less will tension close the valve faster and save air? all 3? something else?

    • @TheKimjoh560
      @TheKimjoh560 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The regulator does not wait for the plenum to be empty before it refills, it always strives to be at the set pressure. Having the preload set too high will waste air because the regulator will refill before the valve closes. Also, using all the air in the regulator might not be necessary to achieve maximum velocity afforded by the set pressure. You might be using lore air than you actually need.

  • @vansantsam
    @vansantsam 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Couldn't you have the regulator set high such as 160 bar and then have a light hammer where it won't let all the air out of the regulator but maybe 1/2 of the air, then it would refill.. Wouldn't that also be consistent because only the amount of air released will be subject to the ability of the hammer.. The same thing happens on an unregulated for the first few shots where the hammer isn't striking hard enough to release more air until the pressure lowers but if the pressure doesn't lower and is the same then the released air will remain constant.. Additionally, by having high pressure in the regulator and low hammer strike - any hammer bounce won't release more air.. Am I thinking correctly here..

    Great information, thinking about the Huma regulator, did you notice a big difference, enough to make it worth the cost?
    Thanks SteveK

    also that silver valve looking thingy with the air pressure gauge on it at the beginning of the video.... is that an air superiority product?

    Other videos show this regulator being installed with a business card sized gap left between the reservoir and the regulator. Is this required or not?

    Have a new AT44 QE long. Out of the box its shooting jbs 15.9s at 1050 fps and stays above 960 for 30 shots. Can do 55 shots but they drop to low 800s. At 20 yards does not seem to make much difference in the ability to hit a chipmunk.
    I was wondering if tuning the gun to start off at 900 fps would give me many more shots.
    Have you tried to lower the fps prior to using a regulator to see how the string looks vs stock? I think 38 FPE is more than I really need, 25-30fpe is plenty.

    Since you know the Hatsan at44 .177 (short) inside and out.. My current settings (unregulated - hammer turned down a tad) will shoot 16.2 grain JSB Beast at 870 fps (27 fpe).. 2350 psi fill = 10 shots with extreme spread of 5 fps.. 2500 psi fill = 20 shots with extreme spread of 20 fps.. I have also shot it at lower velocities with very good accuracy. My goal is to shoot 16.2 grain JSB Beast no slower than 835 fps, preferably 850 fps.. What do you think would be a good starting setting on the regulator be (125 bar, 130 bar etc).. I would like to be able to get 40 shots on the regulator with velocity of 835 fps and hopefully 850 fps.. What do think? I believe I can figure out the hammer setting - while on the regulator keep turning it down until the velocity drops a couple feet per second.. What I am trying to avoid is taking the regulator out several times for adjustments..

    Hey Baxter! I just installed a Huma regulator into my Bullboss .25 cal. After doing the install, I noticed that the diameter of the cylinder about 1.5" down from the valve assembly changes slightly. It seems to get bigger, then continues to be larger down the rest of cylinder. Is this indicative of a faulty cylinder, or is it designed this way? In other words, the top 1.5" of the pressure cylinder is slightly smaller in diameter. It is definitely noticeable if you run your hand down the tube, but the difference is small, and the larger diameter is consistent all the way until the pressure gauge. Before I fill the cylinder again, I am trying to figure out if this is indicative of a bad cylinder, or if they are designed that way. Thank you!

    Do you know what size screw is needed to pull out the regulator out of the air tube if the plenum spacer come off and the regulator still far into the air tube?

      Put that end of the tube in a pillow then put air thru the tube very slowly it will only take a little bit of air and the regulator will pop out into the soft pillow.

    Unregulated the at44 shots 30 shots at 30fpe from 190 to 120 bar, if you set the regulator to 120 bar is it possible to get the same 30 shots at 30fpe but with a lower ES?

    • @air-superiorityproducts7554
      @air-superiorityproducts7554  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      plls12 Yes as long as you re tune the hammer strike

    • @pllagunos
      @pllagunos 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      AIR-SUPERIORITY PRODUCTS Then why don't you go for it? You will only loose 2fpe and gain 20 shots or 2 magazines...

    • @air-superiorityproducts7554
      @air-superiorityproducts7554  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I have the short and there is also a long version with a longer air tube... The long can do that but not the short. also I miss read your question, setting the regulator up at a lower bar is not going to give you the same velocity...the lower the pressure the lower the velocity. A non- regulated tube has more pressure behind it then the regulator chamber. Even though you may be able to shoot down to 120bar thats backed by the entire tube pressure. With a Regulator it will take between 140-160bar to keep it at that velocity.

    • @pllagunos
      @pllagunos 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      AIR-SUPERIORITY PRODUCTS Oh.. then I might leave mine unregulated as it shots pretty good at 96% (29 shots) but it would be cool if an extension could be installed in the air cylinder, so those who have an ldc fitted have the air cylinder and ldc at the same length and also you would gain some shots.
