Thank you for the video! However I have one question: What if the cells I want to combine including the date column? It turned out to be numbers after trying.
Yes is there an answer? I am trying to use a date also but it is reading as 44799

Thank you... looks like you are an awesome one for me to follow - that was fantastic. I am soooo new to Excel and trying to learn new skills to save me masses of time in my new career of teaching. I have a dense question... If I had the last name in column A, first in column B, and combined the way you have here with a comma and a space too, as I wanted them spread out like this: Smith, Bob Well, now, I have these in column C - and there is no way for me to use that lovely new list elsewhere as I get warnings, because of course, it's a formula I am trying to copy and paste. Is there a way to just say hey, thanks... now I want that combined surname, the first name on another sheet.... I'll keep playing, but thought I would ask and when I google that question, haha, I get many of these styles of videos only, so maybe there is no way to take the formula out but leave the new data set out pretty :)

I have a COUNTIF formula ... now I want to calculate the percentage of a value in that same formula for instance .. it would look like this 500, 19%. I can use what you taught to have a comma and a space .. but what about the calculation of the percentage?

Doesn't work with numbers with 00 at the beginning of either of the numbers in any cell.
Eg: 123 and 001
The formula omits the 00 in the output, any thoughts?

Hi need help on how to stack phone numbers in 1 column. Like if there are 3 phone numbers per person how I do I make them go underneath each other.
Let's say I have a list of items with charges for each. But some items are listed multiple times. I would like the multiples to be added together and thus consolidate into one entry on the list. What command could I give excel to add matching items together?

I have a question - when you try and do this with columns D and E you get what is in column E but you do not get the date in column D - instead you get the Julian equivalent - how do you get what is actually in column D?

Thanks for the video! I've been googling how to combine data into one cell AND add line breaks. Some sites say that adding CHAR(10) into the CONACT formula adds a line break but it's not working for me. Any thoughts? Thanks!

double click on the autofill handle it will do it automatically without dragging

This helped me greatly!! One question, for my first few rows, it perfectly spaced everything ( I combined 7 rows), but for many of the rows, it created these massive spaces. Any idea what could be causing that? Thanks!!
