She looks so cute with her hair down. About the shedding, I had the same issue with her predecessor from series 1 and a little bit with this Elle too. Those hair pieces were already loose to begin with. I think it has to do with the way afros/very curly doll hair is being cut during production. The loosely cut pieces get stuck in the curls and they will eventually fall out. It's nothing to be worried about. It's completely normal and it will eventually stop.
Omg. Her face just reminded me of the actress Gabrielle Union and then at then at the end you named her Gabriella. 😂 Her white outfit is the best one for me.

Did you wash with only soap and water, and not boil wash? I’ve been looking at Elle molds with natural looking, textured hair. With her ponytail, I’d like to get the texture restored to the root, but don’t want to damage or relax the texture on the ends. You seem to have worked out her Afro perfectly, especially in the first look!
I washed her hair with shampoo and conditioner only with lukewarm water. I did not use hot water because it will make the hair straight. After washing the hair, I used a comb to fluff up the hair. After that, I did not comb it so as not to make knots in the hair.
Even though she has a pretty face, I have been on the fence about her until I saw your video. The way you have styled her, she looks stunning 😍. I have never styled a dolls hair before (I just stick them on display lol). How many times did you wash her hair and did you just brush it? Thanks!
