    Currently a seasonal and I LOVE IT. probably won’t go full time though at this point in my life

    I work for public works in Maryland city and the Pay is not really a good pay but the benefits are exelent especially in retirement

    BTW seasonal means they hire you for about 4 months then you either stay on the team or don't. Then when you stay it means you didn't have another job because your either on call or always available. You only get paid for the hours you work but for regular workers they only hire seasonal because it's cheaper. The only way you get hired full time is someone else left the work.

      I worked seasonal for my town for parks and recreation, cemetery, and the historic patton house and patton estate. I even had an Eagle Scout project constructed there

    How’s the starting pay? How are your hours? Do you work weekends? Do you have to know someone to get in? Do you have to live in the town to get a job there or not?

    currently waiting for my scheduled exam for city of san gabriel and don’t know what to expect, i want to know if there’s any study guides or prep exams for the position of maintenance worker 1

      I’m in Jersey & the guys I spoke with over here said you start at 38k a year which is lousy just like I heard from a few others. But they always say the benefits are good..
