I learned so much about him. His perfect robotic style makes so much sense considering his father was basically a perfectionist and he didn’t have much outside influence. I have a new like for Nyjah. He might not be what “core skaters” like but he’s a good guy and undoubtedly one of the best skaters to ever live.

I hope Nyjah gets a chance to reconnect with his father. From what it sounds like, it'll be heavy for him. But if he's got things he wants to ask and has a lack of closure around certain things, it'll be heavier if he waits until it's too late. I just lost my dad and had also been waiting to clear the air with him about things between us. Don't mean to air dirty laundry or project my own situation on someone else, everyone has their own thing going on. However, a big lesson for me that I keep harshly relearning as I get older is that we really don't have as much time as we think. Either way, dude is a machine and such an inspiration. Best of luck to him and anyone reading this.

I genuinely love watching both Stev-O and Scott hang with whoever they’re “interviewing” or whatever you want to call it. But OBVIOUSLY they’re both just genuinely interested in talking with and getting to know whoever is with them each episode. Scott is good at asking certain questions and he does a solid job. I’m Autistic and I’ve analyzed people thoroughly my entire life just to get by and be able to understand people and how to be etc. I look at Stev-O and I can see the genuineness in his eyes and on his face and while he’s giggling and smiling and just like, “this fucking guy is amazing”…as he immediately stops laughing and wants to make sure he’s really zoned in and listening and HEARING what each person has to say. I’d love to just kick it and have a conversation with these two one day. Much love

I think people see him as someone that doesn't have to try as hard, I don't think that Nyjah lacks determination, he is the best rail skater ever, no injuries, says a lot. @@adamlangdon2245 I agree that certain people are insanely gifted with pure athleticism and an extraordinary connection between their mind's eye and their entire body. Like way beyond hand-eye coordination. People like Nyjah, and every other pro and most ams have earned their status from applying that same effort that less gifted people have to put into skating. Speaking as a person that was somewhat intellectually gifted, I chose partying, and now I have nothing to show for it. People being gifted skaters, or at anything else, for
that matter, deserve every single bit of credit for their merits. It's not about what you have, it's about what you do with it. Besides money. Eat the rich. Lol

That monologue was really empowering and something I needed to hear. I think one of the coolest things about skateboarding is that it provides a space for inner growth for people that are either rejected by their surrounding society, or want nothing to do with said society. While it's become more popular, it's still a welcoming space for personal growth without being dependent on society's approval. As a non-competitive person myself, I used to actively avoid the densely populated skate parks.

Innocent until proven guilty…and I’ve never seen an official news source cover the allegations, it’s all from youtube comments and originated on the SLAP forums I believe. Completely baseless allegations that anyone could make.

Funny to see that Nyjah’s pops was right .
    About it all .
Especially the parts about society .
His Pops wasn’t t crazy and knew what His Son was capable of
He didn’t push His other children to do these things
He knew Nyjah was/is special FR FR .
But it’s always a fine line
With the society concept as well as pushing your child .
You have to have that in You to be a Real 1 & recognize when you’re seeing it different but right
As well as to recognize when to check yourself
So Nyjah’s Pops has something ill about Him that’s pretty special as well
He created this special person and beyond on another level skater .
