The cars most families had back in the 1960’s, 4 door full-sized Chevy’s and Ford’s, are a rare species now! I’d be just as happy having this or a 1962 SS with a 3 speed and 396!
Nothing wrong with a more door!! 👍😎
I would drive this as it is and not bother fixing it up
Leave the car just like it is its in good shape daily driver in the summer time park it in the winter get the seats cleaned. Easy to fix to.
Don't care what people say bout how many doors it's a real classic
It is a big hang up
Always a good day seeing these big body impalas
Take this car to Brian’s next door and get new discs all around and vintage AC🤩⚡️⚡️💥💥👍
It’s a keeper.
Another great American classic highway cruiser !!!! Built to last forever !!!! 💯🇺🇸🗽🦅⚔️💀👍🕯️
Nice old ride. Too many doors. But pretty clean.
You need more friends
Nice family cruizer, load the family in and have a good time!
Oh my god, it’s a four door! Poison!!!! ☠️
🙂
Man remember when 4 door cars were hard pressed to get $2K? You could always buy it and see if DD Speed Shop is willing to help you make it a 2 door!
Love that manual steering! You can see the effort he's putting in to steer the car..
Car appears to be all original.
This would be a great car to donate to a DYI TH-camr that restores cars. Its originality is still there. Another interesting idea would be to see what BMS could do with it.
I had a 1963 Chevy biscuit this is a really nice ride but the back window is letting water in the trunk it looks like the trunk was half full of water and the engine doesn’t sound good funny noises but all and all nice car for a fair price need to check the underbody for sure
3:31 honk! honk!
Learned how to drive in the station wagon version. Had the same size engine 283. My dad drove a 63 Plymouth Valiant wagon and my mother drove the 62 Impala. Oh the Valiant had push button transmissions.
@@scooterp7009 But the Valiant was a tank. We lived out in the country. One winter the Impala got stuck, but the Valiant walked right out of the snow. The Valiant had the slanted six in it. Yes the Impala was better looking.
Swap out the cast iron powerglide for the newer version and save about 1000 lbs.
Cool daily
For the two door vs four door cork sniffers...
I have a '62 4 door Impala. Some cars just look good with too many doors! It's a 'restorod' and an original California rust free car. I get plenty of waves, looks and compliments on it...all at less than half the price of a comparable two door car. I've noticed that there are plenty of Impala and Belair two doors around for sale at crazy prices, and the four doors seem to be wayyy harder to find. So, as broke as I usually am, I'm gonna enjoy it until someone comes along and either gives me a killer deal on a two door...or gives me a free one!
P.S. If I had a buck for every lowrider guy that asked me if it's for sale...I could BUY a two door.
Nick don't forget to check Horn 🥳📯
I really freaking love this ride ... are price's negotiable??
Unbelievable find !
Would of like to see what it looked like with the fender skirts on
Hey Nick, I'm gonna guess this horn will work.
Oh hell yeah,a good loud and proud horn!! Lol
Very beautiful looking car beautiful colour perfect look thanks Nick have a very nice day mate
Just curious, if that is original motor would it require lead additive to the gas?
Its 10 seconds in and it looks great!!!!
Good Mid Morning My Good Little Bro Nick Southgate Sir Of Maple Motors & That Is A Great Looking 1962 Chevrolet Impala Sedan
Thanks 👍
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate You're Welcome My Good Little Bro Nick Southgate Sir
The 1962 impala is a sweet thing. How about baby blue?
I have for sale is 1962 chevy impala 4 door with a SS engine and has switches,I'm in California
nice local car show/nostalgia ride for not much money...... my buddy had the exact car in high school......spent a lot of time in that car 283/powerglide.....not a performance model
Nice impala 👍
You guys sell these cash only or payments as well
Now Nick you know the old saying two doors too many 😂 just trying to get a giggle out of you nice car it's great if you had one like that with a two-door and they can you can buy that one for parts that would be awesome
Why would you part it out? If you want a two door in good condition just.buy one
@@pmscalisi if you had a 62 Impala that was a two-door and you need to get parts a four door is good for a parts car I wouldn't spend money on a four-door car that's an old car just to me it's a waste of time to buy one only good for if you wanted for parts for extra parts I mean if you're going to redo a car that's a four-door it's sort of like wasting a lot of money my opinion I would never buy an old car that's four doors 2 to 60s or 70s early seventies just my opinion that's all I scratched my head and people restore four-door old cars like a Chevelle or Buick Skylar Cutlass supreme they're hideous looking when they're four doors when they're two doors now that's what you can work with so you keep the four doors for parts simple hard to get parts these days
@@gaetanodetorrice5555 okay to each his own.👍🏻
The person who let's say restores a four-door car is going to lose so much money he'll never make his money back not even close but you're right to each his own 👍👍👍

I'm interested in this car. I sent an email this morning but haven't heard back yet.
Dang it Nick! After they stitched you up from your accident you could’ve had em stitch up that headliner. What were you thinking? Just kidding glad you’re OK. Nice car fair price.
