Hi friends! 💖 I FINALLY got back to organizing and decluttering my closet! I had waaaaaay too many pairs of shoes. In this video, I get rid of 30 pairs. And I have no regrets. Please drop your thoughts in the comments!

I’ve been decluttering too. Shoes, coats, boots, clothes, jewelry, etc etc-for a year. I’ve been averaging 1 large garbage bag a week. I only kept what I actually use -and it’s been very freeing. Life changes along with lifestyle motivated me to just let the past go. Especially those jeans that “I’ll get back into someday” 😂 Great video👍
I'm still holding out hope for the jeans! Although I did fill up a bag with the smallest sized ones. That was a start. 😂 One bag a week is impressive - good for you! 👏👏👏

Hey Veronica! I need to visit this side of your enterprise more often. I downsized my wardrobe and shoes shortly after my job approved full remote work. I feel like I blessed others who still have to go into the office. I don’t know if they have any in your area but I found a non profit that provides outfits to women re-entering or newly entering the job market. That made me really feel good and helped me detach from my memories.

I need to declutter, as well. I have as much shoes as you do, yet I only wear maybe 4 😅 I have lost a lot of inches and I can now wear my skinny jeans without a knee-high boot to hide my legs😂. Ooh I'm loving the outro music!

Mission accomplished! I’m moving soon so that will be a perfect opportunity to curate ALL my luxuries, from clothing to fragrances, to purses. Can I just say, I am equally obsessed with Vince Camuto shoes. I feel as if the cut is specifically designed for me!!! I’ve not encountered a shoes that isn’t stylish AND comfortable. Many or none of those will be leaving!!

Oh Veronica!! I have to tackle my closet!!! My clothes and shoes are out of control. I even need to cull through handbags that are on the neatest little hanger in their dust bags. I am decluttering as well. I have been for 3 years. I thought I had a lot of shoes and clothes, but, wholly Toledo, you have me beat. You might try the same method as with hangers to turn them backwards to see what you haven't worn in a year. There is no way you actually wear all of those shoes. Maybe put yourself on a no buy for 3-6 months. I have been decluttering each season when I switch Spring/Summer to Fall/Winter and it works. I turn my hangers backwards and back forwards when I wear an item. At the end of the season, I force myself to put on the items that I haven't worn and ask myself several questions. Does it look good on me? Does it fit? Is it still my style? If I still love it, do I have items to wear with it? If I no longer love the item, I let it go by giving it to a friend, selling or donating it. The few items that I love that I hope to fit again one day, I put in a "Hopes and Dreams" basket. I don't allow myself more than that basket of items. I go through those each year as well. 30 pairs of shoes in one declutter is great. Perhaps you will be motivated to eliminate more each time you do this exercise. Good luck!

I went through shoes declutter last year. Also had a ton of pretty high heeled shoes that I used to wear to the office but since I work from home now, all of them were just standing there, so many had to leave

@@essentialveronica 😂right! Luckily, my husband is a contractor and he’s going to add on to the house. This is actually a pretty good size house considering that most from this era have tiny rooms. The rooms are a decent size , just no closet but I do have a storage room upstairs right off the attic but it’s full of my husbands junk lol despite me having a perfume collection, my husband is the one who holds on to everything 🤣😂

True story here 🤦♀️I took a beautiful pair of gorgeous Calvin Klein stilettos 👠cream shoes to England with me ,only to find out the inside of them was deteriorating so I had to throw them out LOL I was so upset because they were quite comfortable

Over the past few years, my feet have been getting harder and harder to dress up. Nothing feels comfortable. Just got rid of 5-6 pairs this past month (including Vince Camuto and Sam Edelman).

Rarely wear heels. They give me huge cramps in my arches. I can wear wedges or a bit of a platform (or very chunky heel.

I'm trying to buy a lot less but much higher end these days. I've invested in shoes that cost 3-4-5 times what I used to buy, but now I have very few pairs of shoes. Same with clothes. I just do better with getting dressed if I have limited choicees....
