- Yall ready for part 2 of my MASSIVE shoe declutter? I will be the first to admit, I have a problem. What can I say, I'm the perfect storm of a girl who both loves shoes and works in fashion. Today, I am decluttering my entire shoe collection and going through my heels, sandals, and sneakers and trying to streamline my wardrobe so that I can actually walk into my tiny walk in closet. Someday I'll have a whole closet for shoes, but for now I gotta edit it down and get rid of all the excess! I tend to buy most of comfortable footbed sandals and peep toe sandals. Love this video ❤️ I enjoy watching decluttering videos because it gives me motivation to declutter my stuff and gives me ideas of how to organize my stuff.
Heels, flats, booties and sandals … and open toe booties .. I have a lot of duplicates lol so many of the same style in different colours or shades ..

OMG I just finished a shoe clean out a few weeks ago lol! I had over 200 also... honestly, did not think I had that many. And I thought I was the only one with shoes that stay by the front door haha!
It really blew my mind but good to know I’m not the only one with an exorbitant amount of clothes!
You have more shoes than anyone I know. You definitely don't need to go shoe shopping anytime soon. Actually, you might want to try a 6 month no buy, because you could have an addiction to buying shoes. I'm sure it would be difficult, but understanding what triggers you to buy more when you already have so many could be beneficial. Maybe counting how many you have and how many you let go of would be helpful as a starting point.
She explained in the video her work IS fashion and she often gets sent shoes.
I am just going to put this out there, not to judge, just because I heard it from someone a while ago and it blew my mind (and helped!):
Let's says you have 30 pairs of summer shoes. Summer officially has 92 days. Sip a glass of wine and let that sink in :)

I own an ungodly amount of sandals. Given that I live in NH…well, the weather can be challenging. One summer I decided to wear a different sandal every day to see how long I could go without a repeat. I made it with a few to spare. …maybe I need to do my own shoemageddon unhaul!
Haha. The struggle is real! Sounds like me living in SoCal owning so many coats I can’t shut my coat closet 😂 I love shoes and want all the shoes but….I just don’t have the space for them right now 🤣

Wow Jess 227 pairs of shoes!! How did you even store that many?? Well at the end you said you didn't know lol. I've got about a 9.5 size now, I have the most boots and sneakers now.

I didn’t count but…it was about 6-7 trash bags full….feels like about half. Took some to goodwill and gave some to some friends who have the same size foot

I’m enjoying this video, but have noticed that you are getting rid of a lot of shoes from Shein, etc. I’m 58 now, and if I could talk to 30-something me, who owned about 70 pairs of cheaper shoes, some in wild colors, I would tell her to avoid those cheap shoes and instead buy fewer pairs of better quality, in classic styles. I now own 36 pairs of shoes, mostly Italian-made, that are timeless.
