Congratulations on 2k! One of the most underrated channels on TH-cam. I truly enjoy and appreciate your channel and all of the content you provide. Keep up the great work!!!
Really cool shots! I really love the mood of the lighthouse pic at 7:21, and also the tones from the industrial shots at 9:15 and 9:25. I hope you find time to go back and explore the industrial areas again and post a video. Thanks for what you do.
Congrats on the 2k subs! And I feel the same way, how can you only have 2k?. I am very new to analog photography, so watching your channel has been a good element of my learning process. Keep em coming!
I completely get the color film struggle when shooting landscape. Sometimes I think I want to open a film studio when I retire. I've been able to travel a good bit of the US because of work, I wonder if a LF film studio would play well in the digital world.
@@Distphoto That's the real concern. If I shoot for me I'm happy, even if I make a mistake, because I learn something. If I shoot for someone else, it's more stressful. Not always of course but enough of the time to steal the joy right out of it. You should have a lot more subs...
Love the 500cm. I prefer Portra over the Fuji... but since it is discontinued it is sort of a unicorn now...and always had quite a following. it is a shame it is gone.
The higher cost has a lot to do with numbers of buyers I am sure. Sell 100 times more of anything the price always drops. Because the cost of production etc is spread out over more of the product.
I bought 12 boxes of Fuji Velvia50 in 4x5 a few years ago and put them in the freezer, before I realized that I’m a B&W photographer. When I check the prices now I think maybe I need to update my house contents insurance😂

Appreciate that
How the heck have you only got 2k followers!? I consider myself very fortunate to have stumbled across your channel. Keep up the excellent work!
Feel very fortunate for 2k subs :) thanks!
Great shots. Would love to see a video of the Industrial scenes on HP5. Congrats on hitting 2K!
I will be going back at some point and will try to record some next time.
Always been a fan of your work - keep it up man! Congrats on 2k!
Thanks! Will do!
Nice shots, HP5 is a really great film.
My current favorite. If I could just have one film it would be HP5 hands down...
Love the video and your HP5 images!
Thanks so much!
I've learned so much from you. Keep the great content coming!
So great to hear!
This is really a good film stock😍
It is delightful!
Shooting my first color film in years with a Pentax 67 . I just decided to grab some of the fall colors. Great vid and nice trip.
Thanks, have fun with the Pentax, such an awesome camera!
Awesome stuff as always.
Thank you! Cheers!
Love your interaction with your daughter 😄
😊 thank you
Thanks for your videos!! Keep up the good work
Thanks, I appreciate that!
Major congrats on 2K!
Thank you 🤗
Another great video.. thanks
You're welcome!

Glad you enjoyed it. I love industrial stuff so will definitely end up back there at some point!
Loving the colour grading on the video :)
Thank you! Always trying to figure this video thing out... quite the rabbit hole I have gotten myself into :)
@@Distphoto It's in our blood, we can't explain why we do what we do :)
@@GoogleAlvin indeed 😜
Congratulations on 2k and means I am on OG around here :)
Yes you are, Thanks!
I've jumped out of my bed and grabbed my camera and tripod and few rolls of b/w film when I've seen mist! Just too good in black and white:)
Been there. It can be so elusive though. Seems like when I get to a spot the fog always rolls out.....
I haven’t shoot any 120 color film at all since I got my Ciroflex. Love to see why that film can do. Great vids.
I would love to see as well!

So awesome, glad I can help!
I haven't shot Pro 400H before, but I'd love to!
Thanks for watching stay tuned for the drawing and maybe you'll get too soon!
All this is amazing! I had some rolls of 400H, but they were heavily expired, couldn't yield anything good from them
Thanks for watching!
Only shot Svema color film, I'm mainly black and white too but Fuji would be good to try.
Never heard of Svema. do they still make it?

I think it could for sure... I tend to keep film for my personal work more as not to get so burnt out on it.

I would love to use pro 400h!
Hopefully you will get to!
I also shoot a 500cm and a lot of b/w and Portra. Never tried 400H.

I never got the chance of using pro400h, i was gonna buy it but fuji kinda killed it
Thinking that was a bad move on there part…
Recently fell in love with HP5. Plans for marriage and honeymoon are on the way 😂
Get that!

Yes, I did not consider that. But am sure that is mostly what has happened. Great point.

That’s too funny… crazy how different things are today.
…re film, I suspect production has to conform to greater environmental standards these days. Just a thought…
Good point. I did not consider that but they do have much stricter laws these days. Probably makes costs higher.
