Angelina 13 years old with this beautiful rendition absolutely amazing as always, Angelina has a way of touching your heart and soul with the emotion she puts in to her performances ,her technical ability surpasses her years and she is a musical genius, absolutely amazing talented the way she can arrange a song and make it her own , mos times better than the original!
I listened to this one ,outside in the dark, i closed my eyes and I experienced my first journey, she took me with her at the place she usually gone when she close her eyes...it was a magical place, i was sat down in a big bubble and I forgot where i initially was ! I travelled for a long time...i was the only one and her voice was the energy...
Angelina is on a lifelong mission to sing for the entire world. Her ability to sing, at a very high level, in so many different genres makes me believe, she will accomplish her goal.
The video for I'd Rather Go Blind is definitely done when she had just turned 12 but I think she was not happy with the vocal while singing into the microphone she had received for her 12th birthday because she was holding it backwards and rerecorded her voice later.
She sings this so so beautifully and it is a pleasure to hear her singing. For some reason the sound track seems a little off to me or at least not on par with her performance. The music she used for My funny valenting she released this year, sounded much better to me. Nitpicking surely or just imagining things :-)
The backup music is quite professional, but would be much better if they were recording together so she could influence the timing to match her feels instead of having to force her time to fit the pianist.
You are probably right, somehow I doesn't sound right in my ears. A bit metallic perhaps.... Ah well I don't know. But yes singing along with a tape allows for less flexibility than a performance with a live band. Thanks!
