Beautiful love this ❤
Thanks!
Very nice brother !
Thanks, much appreciated!
Love it. Great playin’!
Thank you so much for watching and for the kind words.
Nice play and nice tone outta the strat.
Thanks very much.
This is great! Love those oblique bends you do (holding the high note stationary while bending and picking lower notes at the same time). Really nice feel to this, Darren!
Thanks my friend. I use those licks sometimes but not always. I saw James Burton demonstrating those in a country style many years ago on an instructional video. I stole that idea and used it for different styles. James showed examples of sliding into the position instead of bending which I also used within the same lick towards the end.
Darren, they say that in art, we don't "steal"; we are "influenced by"...LOL. Hey, I just saw a photo of the recording session for Glen Campbell's "Gentle on My Mind." The caption identifies James Burton, saying that he's on Dobro. (I didn't hear any Dobro on the record but so cool that James was there with Glen.)@@guitareveryone
@@tomculhane6648 yes I remember James Burton playing dobro on some video. Can’t remember the artist but the musicians were sitting in a circle and James was on dobro. James Burton…a legend. What can you say.
Great job!
Thank you Tom. Thanks for watching and your kind comments!
