0:50 "we're going to be looking at four reasons why you should still be playing Tales of Glory" **kills innocent woman** Now i know why i should play this game lol 😂
This is like the vr of bannerlord which if you like to play mount & blade bannerlord this will be great. And the thrill of being in large scale fights.
@@FartherGamerThis game is good, but it needs a dueling, or training mode. I saw one guy enter a tournament early on, and lost because he didn't get the chance to practice .
I’m running pretty far behind to be honest, currently I just have a Nvidia 1080ti gpu, intel I7 cpu, 32gb ddr4 ram, and a few tb of hard drive storage, I’m only just managing to scape by with most vr games these days lol
I STILL don't think this game gets enough attention! It's sold thousands of copies, sure, but it's nowhere near the heights of blade and sorcery or Hellsplit arena in terms of popularity or talking power which i feel is a tragedy. I think the thing that has to be improved the most in it is the accessibility because the game has a ton of mechanics that it doesn't really explain to you, so it's hard for some people to get into it.
The game really does deserve more attention I feel like it was really close to being a big hit I think it just needed some multiplayer and it was a little choppy in places
Appreciate this excellent review. Hits all the spots. Tried to watch another video but the person didn’t stabilize the view. Unwatchable unfortunately. Is it a war band clone? Yes. That’s why I’m interested. lol wtf. I paid for warband like 6 times there’s no VR I’ll get this. Thank you for this great vid gonna probably purchase soon.
Im not familiar with warband so it wouldn’t be fair for me to say but I have heard a few people say it’s basically banner lord, I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching
Sorry to hear that man, personally I never really got motion sick from it I’m usually quite comfortable however if I have to look up and climb I become unbalanced on my feet and almost fall back lol
A reason most people probably wont play them: Tales of Glory feels pretty janky when compared to the others. The sense of weight isn't really there, and impacts can feel kind of weird.
Why would I mention mount and blade when the title reads reasons to play tales of glory ? Instead of hating for no good reason go find a video made by someone that shares your opinion which might be a shock to you but not everyone does
To put things in perspective.....tales of glory was produced by a solo (1) developer. The game is miles ahead of B(ull)&S(hit), hells(hit) and boredsman......play with bhaptics, full room scale, wrist weights, 4090, varjo aero and then try change my mind. Fight me.
I agree with you about how impressive the game is for a solo developer, I don’t agree that there was any need to insult the other games.. they are also good games
@@FartherGamer gotta admit i was pretty creative with the names......if only the TEAM of devs for those games where as creative as the SOLO dev of tales of glory.
@@Wijikata lol, if I was that dev, I'd be waaay too busy making them games to troll on youtube, lol. Honestly tho, the games I trashed on are really great games. What sets them apart from TOG is that a solo dev achieved what many did with huge budgets and what else grinds my chicken is that you ask those devs questions and rarely get a response where the TOG dev is pretty much instant response on discord. Sooooo idk but devs need to step it up and stop circle jerkin in the office
wait, this is the Mount and blade mod i looking for!
😅
are we already ignored the fact that he just merked a defenceless civilian at 0:51?
She was rushin my flank
He's not killing defenceless civilians. He's denying the enemy potential recruits.
its called pillage the village for a reason lol
ONE GUY DID THIS..... And gave us an awesome part 2 that makes u a Tier1 operator complete with a squad that gets helo'd in.... RESPECT!!!
I know it’s very impressive all things considered

This is like the vr of bannerlord which if you like to play mount & blade bannerlord this will be great. And the thrill of being in large scale fights.
That’s what I love about this game, being in a huge battle fighting along side your men
its basically banerlord but vr i love it
You and me both
Really fun game for some reason it made me dizzy pretty quickly, but with short brakes in between i can olay for hours
Yeah it’s easy to sink into campaign building your army.. I lost many hours
definitely one of my go-to's for VR, nothing like riding into the coastal village on your viking longship to pillage with the (NPC) boys
Glad to see there are others that appreciate this game

Haha this comment sold me. You can actually do that? My Viking roots are calling.
@@greenmarin3 basically yes hahah there is a map on the freeplay mode built around this scenario.
What are your PC specs for this? 100 v 100 is a lot.

Yeah I can’t understand why it hasn’t been picked up more

So it's Mount and Blade, VR. That's all you had to say.
would of been a very short video
It feels more like warband then bannerlord 2 (never played bl1)
@@colelewis1056 bannerlord is mount and blade 2. warband is mount and blade 1.

Is this game even being worked on anymore?
Very slowly yes but it just one guy
what headset do you use?
Oculus Quest 2 wired up to pc
@@FartherGamer how are the graphics so good?
@@monkedo7088 they just are ? lol
i also play this on steam vr hooked up with my oculus quest 2 and it really laggy for some reason
I experience awful lag on the main menu but the game runs fine for me
It's pretty bad optimized I think. Probably because it's a single developer and optimization can be difficult
i played this game on quest 2 with steam air link and it ran perfectly, most likely just a personal issue
A reason most people probably wont play them: Tales of Glory feels pretty janky when compared to the others. The sense of weight isn't really there, and impacts can feel kind of weird.
Yeah but that can be forgiven considering it was made by a single guy and how many vr games can boast large scale battles with many NPCs ?
tried gaming, isn't good for oculus
I gotta take your word for it because I only played steam vr

it is only available on pcvr?? So your pc must just be weak af
