You can actually fix these pretty easy if you have a soldering iron, some metal wire, and superglue, and they will be FAR stronger than before, and less likely to break. I did it to my 2011 sel about a two and a half years ago and over 10,000 openings later (did uber for two years with it) it still works great.
Take the handle assembly out of the door, then you have to bend the end of that rocker pin to where you can push it through the assembly.
I will do a video on it one day for the FBI group and put a video up here as well when I get time to go to the junkyard and grab a spare.

No need to remove the whole door cover, as long as you can pull the upper cover and take the handle out.

My 2010 Ford Fusion driver side lock stopped working. I have to roll the window down and open from outside. I'm a novice. I think I can fix this myself but I'm concerned about clips breaking when I remove the door panel. What kind of clips are this? Are they easy to purchase and replace?

@@becausebass3629 I watched your video (from link in description box) on removing the door panel and it do not mention what types or part number for the door clips. Did you mean that if the door panel is removed the way you did it that the clips most likely won't break? The second link in the description goes to Ebay's home page so I'm guessing the seller no longer sells the handle.

I’m screwed because I don’t have any tools to remove the door piece which you didn’t show us how to do anyways, just showed us where there at in order to remove it
If you have Auto Zone or O'Reilly Auto Parts near you they loan tools. They'd probably let you fix it in their parking lot if you buy the part from them.
