This is one of Ford's greatest engineering feats ever...and I've seen some real bonehead designs in their vehicles. Take a simple 2 minute job and make it a full union day of work...I know, how's bout we add fibre optic wiring systems and full aluminum bodies to them? Exceeellent....
So is the screw tightened to allow the anchors to engage or is the screw loosened to allow the anchors to push back? It is confusing. I watched like 5 times and still don't understand
When you loosen the screen it pushes the anchor away from the handle clip when you tighten the screw it pulls the anchor against the handle and holds it into place
Of the the damn videos I saw this one was by far the best one and how I got my door handle back in place thank you buddy !
Except the metal piece won’t stay in place in the locked or unlocked position and I can’t find a solution anywhere
My latch keeps popping back as soon as I release the flat tip screwdriver. What am I doing wrong!?
