    What is your favourite setup for shooting portrait photography? Let us know in the comments below!

      Completely agree: it's all about the feeling a portrait gives you. I also want to make a honest portrait that shows a true emotion of the sitter. Goosebumps when that works. My setup? Flash or daylight in a minimalist studio setting. The camera and/or medium has to suit the subject and what I'm after. Could be anything from a paper negative to a fast digital camera but I do like a Fuji GFX with the 110mm.

    Awesome video! Honestly my portraits are mostly candid shots of friends and family, love catching a moment.

    I would say, Fujifilm give you more shooting freedom still maintaining all the features from the new generation digital cameras. All the fill simulations contained in a small camera body helps you to go through a new different shooting process.
    In My experience, owning a fuji x-e3 given me more freedom opening my eyes for a more creative approach to my projects and to go over my limits.
    Big shout to Simon Murphy , terrific photographer and an excellent lecture. His vision of life influenced me and my photography.
    Keep up with the good job 👏

      We agree! We love FujiFilm for its thoughtful approach to designing bodies that look great but also appeal to so many different photographers. Another great thing is that you can simply transfer your XF APS-C lenses as you upgrade to different bodies as most if not all, are amazing!

    Should I go original 100 or 50sii

    • @mpbcom

      It depends mostly if you need the additional 50MP. If not, go for the 50s II as it's a more modern body, and it has the IBIS which is a big plus. - Jakub

      @jonathanbush1936 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@mpbcom That is incorrect. The 50s II does *not* have IBIS. Currently, only the 100 series GFX bodies (100, 100s, 100 II) have IBIS.

    I’m confused, one minute he’s holding and talking about the GFX 100, the next minute he’s shooting portraits on the 50s, with zero explanation as to why.

      Look at the info next to each photo. He’s using both cameras.

    There is something wrong with all of this… and the music somehow is hiding it. Look brother if you want to present something choose one subject one camera based on the title. Second note, it’s my first time in my whole life i will see someone using tripod for portrait someone you probably know which is a shame cuz you limited yourself with a fixed angle, and it is so weird to not present the models and let them speak of themselves a bit instead of making them look like a ghost.
