Thanks for the great info. Just bought a 2006 Goldwing , took a trip to Laconia for bike week ( 800 miles in round trip ) and could have used used this before the trip. Next trip will be better.
Glad you found it useful. Congrats on getting the wing. You won't regret it. You might check out these 2 other videos. One on a great cup holder method and another on mounting a GoPro on your bike to record you rides. Mike, You did a very good job and your edits were excellent. Some guys turn this type of job in 30 to 45 min video. I liked It very much. Looks to me like your set up and ready to lead on our up coming adventure. Good work. BJ
Hello, thanks for your kind words. All the part #s are in the description and I bought them all on Amazon, or you can buy them direct from Ram Mount. Thanks for watching!
I don't have a video but I can tell you I ran a separate wire from my battery up to the pouch on the left-hand side and put a USB port in there from there I ran a USB cord out underneath my fairing up to the phone. I made sure I had slack so when I turn the handlebars it would never put stress on the cable I only plug the USB into the socket when I'm going to use it right now I'm using that same phone location to run my GoPro I have another video on the GoPro setup that I have. Recently I have been using a Garmin Zumo XT for navigation and love it.
I had that happen a couple times, I just had to move my phone up a little to move it off of the buttons. Each phone is different I suppose. Hope that helps. I also use the Tether that came with the mount to hold it tighter. Thanks for watching. Did you check out my video on mounting a GoPro?
I did, I just didn't show it in the video. The video was about the mount, not the power. Good point though. I should have. I have power on both sides. I'm now using a Garmin Zumo xt on the left side and my GoPro setup on the right. Check out that video on the GoPro setup. I think you will like it.
Thanks for video. But my phone came out of that mount and landed in my lap. I would have never seen it fall due to it being 4:00 am. I don’t recommend this holder. I have one for any one that wants it. Free
Mine fits so tight i can't imagine it ever coming out. I have a Rubber case on my phone that keeps it from sliding around in the mount. Thanks for watching

Just came across your video. Very nicely done. Do you have one showing how to run a charger cord to the phone? Thanks again 👍🏼

Thanks for the great information. Did you buy all the parts separately or can you buy as one unit?
Bought them separately. There is a list of the parts in the description. Thanks for watching!

great video, does it block your vision to the right side mirror?
Nope, can see just like it wasn't there.
Very nice thanks for sharing.
I would like to know if it’s hiding the view in the mirror ???
Not at all. Works great
It's a great mount, but may I ask why you didn't run a USB power source up to your phone to charge it while riding the motorcycle?
