    Love motorbike camping, it's like getting back to basics and learning to appreciate the small things especially trying to survive with the home and food you are carrying on your bike. Hope you have a great trip.

    I just love adventures. I've never been one for making reservations. You voice is clear, not much wind noise. The adventure for me is just going for the ride and seeing things from a different perspective. The bike classifications are to make it easier for the salesman to show you the bikes you're interested in IMHO. Ride safe my friend. 😎👍

    Agreed, there is an element of danger each time we ride... Makes any ride we go on an adventure by default, but especially going somewhere new. No need to explore or go offroad or own an adventure bike to qualify. Gorgeous scenery out there 👍

    You really ride in some spectacular areas. I once drove part of the Blue Ridge in a convertible Mustang while I was working for several weeks in Charlotte and stayed in town over the weekend instead of flying back and forth from my home in New Mexico. I drove over from Mount Airy / Fancy Gap down to Asheville. I really enjoyed that time alone. I could just imagine doing that trip on a bike.

    • @Motoramblings
      @Motoramblings  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a bucket list ride for sure!! I have ridden the BRP near Asheville a ton, it never gets old! I have also done a trip from Cherokee, with the intention of doing all 469 miles, I ended up not doing the last 30 miles in VA, but I'm planning on trying again this year!! Amazing road all the way!!!

    I am a long time Harley guy. I have had six and currently ride an Electra Glide. I love it BUT I also just picked up a slightly used GoldWing GL1800 with 26k miles (not quite broken in for a GoldWing)….and man-o-man is the GW a sweet bike!….. I’m looking forward to taking her out on some nice, long road trips shortly

    • @Motoramblings
      @Motoramblings  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      26k is nothing! I bought a 2010, as you see, bright yellow, and I love it! It is so smooth, and athletic! I can cruise forever, yet I can take it on roads like the Tail of the Dragon and just get it! You're going to love riding yours! Keep me posted on the road trips, I'll sub to your channel to try to keep up! Thanks for watching and commenting, take care, Patrick

      supermankev2001 Too bad about not being notified.... The sun protector came from GPS sunshade, or something close to that. I'll find out and share the exact name.... It helps tremendously, but I still have moments where I put my hand over it still. I'm glad I have it though! The BRP is a fantastic ride, start to finish! Have you ever caught yourself doing something kinda dumb - like literally leaning forward in your desk trying to get a better viewing angle, in the side-mirror on the screen, so that you can see the "massive sock" mentioned in the video 🤣
    Did you do something different with the camera on the front of your bike? The colors looks richer than usual - it looks good!

    • @Motoramblings
      @Motoramblings  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I may have switched cameras... I'll have to watch again. The colors from the Hero 7 are significantly brighter than the Hero 3. I can't say I have leaned into the computer..... But I'm sure I have!! Thanks for watching! Stay well! PS I have that clip you mentioned, I may load it to TH-cam for you to download. I'll let you know when I get it loaded....
