- Good Sunday morning! Here's part 2 of me working on my first-ever full body fursuit!!
I feel like this part is pretty boring and uneventful, but maybe seeing how I went about making my digi shapes might help you. I plan on taping those foam shapes to make pillows for stuffing later.
Next video up will be how I made a pickable canine nose :3

Ive made one bodysuit and decided I should always order an extra yard of each color. I got VERY CLOSE with my dark red and if I had made any mistakes I wouldn't have had enough 😬 id rather have extra fur than too little fur

Ohhh... so that's how you do a bodysuit! I always thought that when you took the DTD off that you drew the pattern on it & cut it up, I had no clue that you actually just use it as a base for more taping. Your techniques continue to surprise me and make me rethink my own process. Very interesting and very helpful for if I make one in the future, thanks FCC!
I hate that it's so much more work, to tape it all over again, but by having the stuffed DTD still intact, you can use it as a mannequin to model the bodysuit on! really helps with like, seeing how it's supposed to look with a body in it.
@@freckledcatcreations Yeah, I suppose so! Good point. And it also comes in handy if you're making another bodysuit of the same size. So I guess it's best not to get it up. It sure is a neat little trick to get a copy of your body to work with, I'm really looking forward to making my own once I can find someone to tape me up haha.

At the beginning of the video, how did you get the body base to start putting foam on it? i really cant find this anywhere else im hoping for your response! Also, you are amazing and talented! keep up the great work!!!!
oh, the commissioner made that! it's a DTD, a duct tape dummy! he taped his whole body, got out, and shipped it to me - then i stuffed it! there's a few DTD tutorials out there if you want to make one! you need a helper tho haha

What do you do with the dtd after its been used? I'm just curious haha
I think that makers hold onto it until the commission has been sent to the customer, when they officially receive the body and confirm it fits and such, then the maker probably just throws it out!
