I love how Simon teaches ALL of us as he goes along, a natural born leader with a kind heart. So glad you're back Simon, it's a joy to watch the Master Craftsman perform his magic.
It is like the "band" has returned to play together once again. What a team - Billy (lead guitar), Simon (base guitar), Yannis (second lead), Rick (drums) , Dad (moody sax) and Alex (keyboard).
It's so wonderful to have Simon back! I'm 65 years old and have worked with hand tools all my life, but Simon taught me something I never knew about hand saws!! Had no idea of the 45 - and 90-degree on the saw handle. Thank you, mate!
Isn’t it nice having Simon back with his positive vibes and of course, amazing skills. I think the guys missed you, Simon… I know that we all did! I think Simon’s glad to be back too!
Welcome back Simon, we’ve missed you. So great to have the team back together again. Pleased to see Mick back in the Digger…think it is one of his favourite jobs …he definitely deserves it😊. A lot of progress today. Also enjoyed Alex’s behind the scenes video. My brother is a long time professional cameraman, but I was still surprised by the effort required to create a great video each day.
Mick is getting better in front of the camera! He was happy talking about the potato’s! Happy to see Simon and Yanis back together! Simon had to “bleeped” a few times😂
Welcome back, Simon..Yanis also got the ceilings and walls in the kitchen at the chateau done. He's been doing tons of other things as well as plastering. He's done you proud.
I have got to say these Petherick’s and the people they choose to work with are some of the hardest working and talented people it has ever been my pleasure to watch. I have never seen any of their projects come out anything less then brilliant. They learn from each other and seem very generous with their time to share their knowledge with anyone willing to learn and work hard. I look forward to seeing the progress on Simons house and someday maybe seeing Yanis remodel or build his own home.
It restores my faith in humanity to see the extended Pretherick family and the Chateau de Lalande family ... it really is a breath of fresh air. Love the recordings and sometimes the sounds remind me of gunshots ... but maybe its just me. Lovely to see the Simon and Yannis equipe together again xxx
Thank you Simon for the tidbit about the saw. Now I can show off to my brother in law , who owns his own construction company, that I know this bit of trivia. Oh, and welcome back. I started crying happy tears yesterday when I saw your car coming through the yard at your house.
Wonderful to see Simon back I. "rural France" for the next few months at the very least! He and Yanis make a great team and they certainly got lot accomplished today. Things will go along quickly now that they are back working together again! It is great to have the team back at full strength and everyone doing their appointed job! Billy, you will have an opportunity to 'crack on' and pick up the slack on all the little projects that only you do best! Can't wait for the upcoming vlogs!! They are the highlight of my day.
I am amazed how FAST Simon is plunging in to the Situation as if nothing had happened between the day he left and now! To see Simon and Yanis working together again is Heartwarming! Your dad Billy is so much 'en forme' so great to see! When are you going to be sponsored by OSMO Billy ? ; ))
Welcome back Simon, Yanis has done a great job while you've been gone. Alex the filming is awesome. Mick seems happier outside on his digger. Billy you are doing an excellent job at everyone.
Welcome back Simon. I bet you're proud of your protégé. Soon Yanis will be a blur. He already moves like a squirrel but with every new skill he opens the throttle.
I love watching Simon work. He is truly a master at his craft. Yet he makes it look so easy. I loved the saw tip. I didn't know it, but it so makes sense. I think Billy needs to not tell or show where he's putting the camera, till the next day when listening. If there is someone in the convent at night, he could be playing to the recorder. Or making sure not to go in the area that the recorder is. The convent is big enough that it would take a lot of time to find where it's at. Mick is such a treasure. So humble!
Thank you, Simon got the saw info. Can’t wait to casually work it into a conversation with my husband or dad as if everyone knows about the angles. They were well impressed I knew what a mitre box was and could have been from you, too. Glad you’re back! It’s like entertainment AND learning at the same time.
WOW! When I saw Billy greasing those zits on the tractor it brought back memories! I was my dad's "grease monkey" for a summer in high school. That was one of my jobs on his semi tractor-trailer. My mom would have loved to have a yard like that with that soil. She had a great garden and used her chicken's manure so all the food grew great. But this would have made her so happy! Mick and she would have gotten along.
Definitely happy to see Simon (his hair has grown too 😊). He does add a depth that I’ve got used to and really look forward to. Goes to show the difference every person brings. Let’s crack on, team!!
So so nice to see Simon and Yanis together again! Perfection personified!! Billy, your doors are looking beautiful with the Osmo finish! That was pretty sketchy on the roof! I’ve never seen anyone stand on it quite like that!! You all got a lot accomplished today! Love from Pennsylvania, USA 💕🌷🐻
.I love Simon. He is a great teacher, He is an excellent example of how to work steadily and methodically. It's a joy to see a craftsman at work. Yannis needs to learn to pace himself. He pushes himself to the max and it shows in his breathing.
It is so wonderful to see such a fantastic team back together!!! To see such amazing work ethic, genuine care, and friendship is truly a gift to the world. Praying that all goes exceedingly well for every project and everything you set out to do! You all are always in our prayers, be safe!
Absolutely thrilled Simon is back! Love that Alex is back with longer videos! Yannick just working he's butt off . Watching Billy doing stuff he enjoys doing!!
Hey Billy, the boys are back. I did watch Alex's day in the life, I found it very fascinating, and it helps us understand your frustration at times with filming and trying to get work done. Welcome back Simon. Love from N.Y.
19:00 thank you. Billy was using a standard driver, was driving me (no pun) nuts. Drywall screw bits are very precise in how far they sink the heads without blowing the paper. SO much faster and better to use a proper bit.
I love how Simon teaches ALL of us as he goes along, a natural born leader with a kind heart. So glad you're back Simon, it's a joy to watch the Master Craftsman perform his magic.
"Daddy's back!" 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂
Love the HP quotes here and there lol
😂😂😂😂❤
It is like the "band" has returned to play together once again. What a team - Billy (lead guitar), Simon (base guitar), Yannis (second lead), Rick (drums) , Dad (moody sax) and Alex (keyboard).
"dad, moody sax" is perfect
😅 love it! ❤️
Welcome back to the adventure, Simon. So enjoyable to see the team working on so many different parts that make the whole come together. Crack On!
Black Sabbath, AC/DC, or Rolling Stones? Lol!
love this !
It's so wonderful to have Simon back!
I'm 65 years old and have worked with hand tools all my life, but Simon taught me something I never knew about hand saws!! Had no idea of the 45 - and 90-degree on the saw handle.
Thank you, mate!
So cool to learn about the handsaw and the 45 and 90 degree angles! I love this teaching.
even if he did get them the wrong way around lol
Isn’t it nice having Simon back with his positive vibes and of course, amazing skills.
I think the guys missed you, Simon… I know that we all did!
I think Simon’s glad to be back too!
Great to have Simon back! 😄
And you too,
Yes, both of you ❤😊
Simon, master at his skills, but beyond that, a great teacher explaining his craft! Welcome back, Simon. We missed you!
Welcome back Simon. We missed you lots.
Put the tablet inside the horse carriage. Nuns didn't speak, but the idle rich did 😂
Brilliant

Welcome back Simon. It takes a skilled craftsman to do what Simon is doing with the plasterboard and the beams.
Very much like cutting hand dovetails in cabinetry.
Simon and Yanis back together 😊 YAY 🎉
So glad to see Simon back he has been missed by everybody not just your team but your audience welcome back Simon😊
Simon is the Bob Ross of construction.
Thank you Simon for the tidbit about the saw. Now I can show off to my brother in law , who owns his own construction company, that I know this bit of trivia. Oh, and welcome back. I started crying happy tears yesterday when I saw your car coming through the yard at your house.

That Ozmo is like magical stuff
I am amazed how FAST Simon is plunging in to the Situation as if nothing had happened between the day he left and now! To see Simon and Yanis working together again is Heartwarming!
Your dad Billy is so much 'en forme' so great to see!

Nice to see The Master and his apprentice back together again. Great tip about the saw, which I did not know!
Welcome back Simon, Yanis has done a great job while you've been gone. Alex the filming is awesome. Mick seems happier outside on his digger. Billy you are doing an excellent job at everyone.
Simon and Yanis…our Batman and Robin battling the convent.
Welcome back Simon. I bet you're proud of your protégé. Soon Yanis will be a blur. He already moves like a squirrel but with every new skill he opens the throttle.
Awesome to have Simon back with the gang!
Welcome back Simon.Billy has always surrounded himself with the best people, including Gwen, and his part time helper Ernest.I love this channel.
So nice to see Simon back with Yanis and to see a glimpse of his own farmhouse when Billy was mowing . Hope we get to see more of it too !
I love watching Simon work. He is truly a master at his craft. Yet he makes it look so easy. I loved the saw tip. I didn't know it, but it so makes sense.

I'm starting to realize that the Convent Kitchen is my new happy place. So in love with this project!

Welcome back Simon! We've missed you.
nice to see you again Simon...!!!
Crazy how much plasterboarding you already got done on the corridor, it's progressing so quickly!
So glad to see Simon back at it. I love the way you explained in what order things are being worked on and why. And a mechanic role as well.
Yes,very glad to have Simon back. Thanks for showing the 45 and 90 degree angles on the saw. I didn't know that. Great info.😊
Except he said them backwards. Lol. 45 is the smaller angle and 90 was the straight angle.
Don't bet the farm on those angles
Love Simon’s tips; he is a teacher at heart.
WELCOME BACK Simon. Xx
MAN OH MAN one day back and already got you working. You will be surprised Simon, oh much Yanis has improved his skills
Simon is the "Bob Ross" of building 😁
it seems to flow when you don't have to do it all. I am loving this all, and the making of the day with the Petherick video construction was genius
We love Simon❤😊 So happy to have you back.🎉

What's nice about the convent's veggie garden is that you can grow veggies and harvest as needed, store potatoes for later use and so on.
Welcome back Simon!
So glad Simon is back too! Such a great crew you have, Billy!
Ah, the dream team! I got a little chocked up when Simon and Yanis hugged. Thanks for the helpful tidbits Simon!
Simon cussing Bobby Blue😂😂😂😂

Thank you, Simon! Such great tips and information. I love to watch craftspeople apply their skills.
19:00 thank you. Billy was using a standard driver, was driving me (no pun) nuts. Drywall screw bits are very precise in how far they sink the heads without blowing the paper. SO much faster and better to use a proper bit.
