For Dragonfall, it's important to buy the Karmic Retribution buff. Not only does it give karma, but it also forces every single enemy you tag or kill to drop volatile magic. Even purchasing the first tier of the buff does this.

Core info from this video: gold is everywhere, you just need the time to farm it... It takes time to get mounts and masteries, because you need them to follow the train and tag mobs efficiently. More time to learn the maps and chain events (Tangled Depths was a horror for me). So, don't panic, you'll get there, just not in couple hours.

Hey brother we all start somewhere! Do all the personal story you can and do your daily to fractals when possible for extra money. It helps to start getting agony infusions early on
I love this map, roll in at the start and always something to do, it's very active and never have to wait around for an event. Most maps are a snooze fest and waiting around, not this one! You never have to worry about keys because you earn so many doing events.

I was doing Dragonfall to farm gold because i noted that the gold was more then the Auric Basin but i was very confused when i was not dropping keys or doing wrong order of events. This video have good detailed info, before the money i got was only 8, but now i can make more than 25 per hour
the only thing that requires a flying mount is the 3rd boss in the bonus part. this is because of the huge canyon that separates that hydra (2nd boss) and the branded forgotten priest (3rd boss). sand doggie with bond of vigor solves this issue as i saw a player do it. i would suggest to get the sand doggie with at least sand portal and bond of vigor masteries and youre good to go. also at the start/reset of every map you can rush 4 bridge events for easy 4 keys. escort events take about 2-3 minutes to pop up and at least 5 minutes each to complete and by that time youre already done. just give 1 salvage materials to the npc and proceed to the next bridge. edit: you can get full participation (and 6 keys) by just participating in killing a champion with the defeat kralkatorrik event, the 2nd part in the DF farm mentioned in the vid. you dont really need to participate in killing those weak spots. just teleport to a shrine. drop down to a champion boss with your sand doggie and kill it. wait for the others to kill 6 more weak spots. i know its not really good letting the others do all the hard work but i guess its forgivable since you dont have a flying mount.
wow Drizzlewood is my favorite map by far and im sad that my guild mattes dont play on it as much as i would like, this video explain everything so well im gonna show it to them to convince them to farm there with me, TY so much!!
For now, Drizzlewoods it is a better farm map, the trick is: DO x2 SOUTH MAP fast.farming-community.eu/open-world/farmtrain Just a big squad with buffs run 2 paths finish the meta, farm the champios, and leave, find another fresh map.
This new map is very profitable. But what saddens me is how useless the map currency is (war supply) In any other maps you get unique currency for each map so you can purchase unique rewards/ accessories/ home node/ universal currency that can be used in other map (magic ) For this map you don't get any of these, and only get raw currency.. So it's good to make money out of this map but you can't complete your other collection in this map :(
Something I completely forgot to comment the first time around I saw this video- Dragonfall sometimes bugs and the war eternally (heh) loops for the first part of the meta. If you want, you can farm for keys a ton.
So, at best, you might essentially make $1.38 USD per hour at today's gem to gold prices. $1.38USD worth of gems is, at the moment of this writing, 111 gems, which will buy about 30g right now. Those prices obviously fluctuate, but you'd still be better off by a nearly an order of magnitude in just getting a part time job for one or two days a week and using those funds to buy gems, then convert the gems to gold. I count time as the most valuable of all resources, so time management matters when I'm weighing out farming options. There are no farming option in this game that I've yet found that can beat my part time job for GW2 funds solution. Personally, I think that if you don't have the option of getting some plinky part time job for 1-2 days a week or you can but you need that cash for other things in your life, these farming options are fine...but everyone gets the same 24 hours in any given day. Nobody gets more time, nobody gets less. You're a gem Cellofrag, so don't take what I'm saying as some kind of teardown; it's not meant to be at all. You're a literal goldmine of great advice and maximized efficiency breakdowns for everything you're into. I just wanted to point out that, if it's an option, getting a part time job for minimum wage here in the U.S at least is pretty easy and can easily add $50-100 a week to one's funds. If you're like me and already make plenty of money at you're actual job but don't want to dip into the funds you pay your way through life with to splurge on video game currency, a part time job on the side is something I've done before and continue to do sometimes when I want what I call 'stupid money' to spend on 'my stupid video game crap'. I go around mowing lawns and trimming up yards for the neighbors in the summer, and my truck and snowplow are always in demand in the winter. I can easily make an extra $100-$200 a week if I work an extra 1-3 hours a day for strictly weekend work, and I often do so whether I'm spending that money on 'stupid video game crap' or not. Then I'll turn around and spend $100 on 8000 gems in GW2 and sell the gems on the exchange market when the exchange rate is 900 gems per 250g or better, and I'll just sit on my gems until the exchange rate is that good or better. You don't want to know how much gold I've accumulated this way. Have I spent thousands of dollars doing it? Absolutely. Is that stupid? Well, it would be if I needed the money for anything serious in my life, but I really don't. And there is no way I could have used the same amount of time spent plinking at part time yard and plowing work to farm up the kind of money I've bought with gems. The time factor is unavoidable. Whether you're farming or cutting deals on the Reddit market and in trading guilds, everything you do will be reducable to one metric: gold per time unit. Gold per hour is a fine measure. If I were making $9USD/hour working at McDonalds for two 5 hour shifts a weekend, after taxes, I'd be pocketing about $60. I could buy 4000 gems for $50 and have $10 left over to buy a burger for my lunch both of those days. Whether I spent those 10 hours farming for, at best, 600 gold or worked at a poofty little job for 10 hours, spend $50 on gems and convert the gems into, just at this moment, about 1000g, I've spent the 10 hours, and I'm never getting them back. Do I want to do something for 10 hours and get 60 gold or do something for 10 hours and get 1000 gold? Some people will say 'you're stupid for spending real money on gems and converting them for gold, that's crazy, you must be so rich and stupid with money to do that', and I understand why some would think so, but those people don't seem to put any value on their time. You're going to spend 1 hour doing something. Do you want to make at absolute best 30g for whatever you did in that hour, or make at least 100g? The only difference is what you do with that hour, and how you convert the resources acquired into game gold. And it's all about time as your most fundamental of currencies.
I have also been thinking about this since I have so litte time to play with real life and a baby, how can I get things in game that will otherwise take hours upon hours of grind, when I can pop in for a little overtime and get the things quicker with much less time spent. I have seen people burn themselves out with these farms, I tried it for just an hour in silverwaste chest farm and I was pulling my hair from frustration. I think people feel more satisfaction and probably enjoy the process more doing everything in game so there is the prestige behind this. So I guess each to their own as young people have a lot of time on their hands whereas older folks with real life situation have little time so should be playing for fun instead of grinding.
I don't understand why people spend their time playing this game when you can just buy gold for pretty much anything you want and then just chill out in town without actually having to put all that time and effort into nothing.

@@Cellofrag I did everything except converting karma into gold and it was not slow at all. I did the full south part of the map not the north part, but i should get more than 15g i think
I do Palawadan & GH on istan map & do DF in between since both maps gives Volatile Magic. which you get a lot with this method. Anyways awesome video as always.

RIBA is more easy, more chill & even more available to beginner. But it's WAY less gold. It's still very popular because very beginner friendly & very chill, but thats all :)
So if i got that right: ( 10:40 ) If i buy the 250 Commendations i would win the 36 silver in comparsion to the content of the box i will sell? And buying 100 gossamper samps would be cheaper so that i had the average +36s? I was wondering because on each level of the achievement there are different boxes if i remember correctly
Btw , they changed the key prices , after you get 5x for 250 supply each , there will be 5 for 500 supply each , then you can buy infinite amount for 1 k supply each , resets daily .
Thanks so much for the video! Am I understanding correctly that the main way to make gold in either map but especially in Drizzlewood is to sell the loot that comes in the chests on the Trading Post? How well does that work if you need the materials themselves for Legendaries and you end up having to buy it all anyway?
started with 251 gold am now at 185, bougt 61 leather cases as they are the most profitable. will update tomorrow when i wake up. edit: alright they sold almost instantly and I am now sitting at 312 gold. what the actual hell lmao
I would say, from my experience, avoid Drizzlewood as it's too much effort for little profit, events finish quite too fast if it's group running with commander, farming keys is hard, as not every event gives you at least one, and you will always, have not enough keys for all the chests. Run Dragonfall instead. Profit is better, it's less tiring, less chaotic... But that's my opinion.
Cellofrag, gw2efficiency website have a different recipes to get maximum profit from spirit shards. Should I follow it or follow the site you put in the video?

I don't understand why people spend their time playing this game when you can just buy gold for pretty much anything you want and then just chill out in town without actually having to put all that time and effort into nothing.
@@bfrfoxtrot In some countries, gw2 gold and gems are more expensive than you think. Won't make any sense to spend so many money inside a game as wont make any sense spend so many time inside the game. Much effort and time for nothing anyways xD
A game should just be a played for fun, it doesn't worth anything to your life, it's just a little happy moment, less happy and more little than anything we will ever do in real life. Idk, like have a Son, see a rare animal, fall in love, whatever..

@@Cellofrag I did everything except converting karma into gold and it was not slow at all. I did the full south part of the map not the north part, but i should get more than 15g i think

RIBA is more easy, more chill & even more available to beginner. But it's WAY less gold. It's still very popular because very beginner friendly & very chill, but thats all :)

Thanks so much for the video! Am I understanding correctly that the main way to make gold in either map but especially in Drizzlewood is to sell the loot that comes in the chests on the Trading Post? How well does that work if you need the materials themselves for Legendaries and you end up having to buy it all anyway?

Are you using reshade ? Your game looks different. Does core game without any dlc has some decent gold farms ? Maybe crafting for something ?
What do you think about auric basin (octovine) meta event? is worth it even i dont get 30golds per hour?

I would say, from my experience, avoid Drizzlewood as it's too much effort for little profit, events finish quite too fast if it's group running with commander, farming keys is hard, as not every event gives you at least one, and you will always, have not enough keys for all the chests. Run Dragonfall instead. Profit is better, it's less tiring, less chaotic... But that's my opinion.
Cellofrag, gw2efficiency website have a different recipes to get maximum profit from spirit shards.

Good guide, but needs changes. Volatile Magic and Spirit Shards gold trades only made me lose money, even choosing the more profitable ones.
Pour le farm dans les bois est ce que le bonus permanent "récupération amélioré" vous le coup ? Sachant que dépenser 30 po dedans ne dérange pas mais lorsque qu'il ouvre automatiquement (si on le prends 3 fois) les recommandations, il ne les convertis pas les loot en réputation, il augmente simplement le bonus de réputation ?
