I'm glad you put the most ariel in, I watched lots of his content, and he gave me lots of tips for my own celica. Unfortunately, my russian camo celica gt has been destroyed. But, hopefully in the future, I'll have another.
I wanna know you suggestions , I just bought a Celica GT 2000, everything stock and auto sadly . I wanna build but a lot of friends are saying I can’t do much since it is automatic . Please give me some suggestions on what mods I can do to my automatic gt Celica ! 🙏 btw your channel is great ! 🖤
V. Austin get a cold air intake and a good exhaust. I too have a automatic Gt 2003 with sun roof. Not bad car I get 38 mpg. But true not much to do engine wise since 1zz. Cold air intake, exhaust system, coilovers, some good set of tires. You can also get some carbon fiber parts to reduce weight. I have a carbon fiber hood it’s 20 pounds compared to stock one weighing 60 pounds.
@@hanielbomb yo you can boost the 1zz and run as much as 15lbs of boost on stock internals, although I'd stay around 7lbs just because of how skinny and weak the stock rods are. The first thing I'd do to your automatic gt is swap in the 5 speed, the 6speed you can also swap in but it's slightly shorter geared and really no use for it since it's a weaker trans anyway However You could also 2zz swap, and mate that to the 6speed or 5speed but with the 5speed you'll be slightly out of lift in every gear, but still I'd manual swap. The 2zz however you cant really build without spending a good amount of money. Hope this helps!!
I will agree with one slow 1zz and hanielbomb. Those are great suggestions. Here’s another one. If you are on a budget and just want to have a little fun with the car then don’t spend too much on these old cars. It’s great to have fun with them but they are getting old so do what’s best for your wallet and your interest. If you don’t want to spend so much on a 2zz swap or manual swap then it’s okay. You can some small cheap mods here and there and still be happy with it. If that’s your case then I suggest go for cold air intake, stubby antenna, exhaust, wheels and tires and maybe some coil overs. But at the end of the day do what makes sense to you and what you want out of the car man! Hope this helps!
Some nice builds: Adam taylor th-cam.com/video/BUWmPt0VngM/w-d-xo.html Stefan guarnieri th-cam.com/video/3bFWwJlUiB4/w-d-xo.html Paul cadey th-cam.com/video/8prWNTyA414/w-d-xo.html
Well i think your budget is important and how much work you want to do to it. If you want a good ready to go car you’re looking at about $4-6k . Look for a manual. Maybe a rare trd package or maybe just a well taken care of one. If you buy a cheap one and build it you’ll learn but you’ll end up spending the same about of money and you’ll put a lot of work into it like I did. But looking back I feel like it’s just better to save and buy one that’s ready to go with no issues or not too many.
Maybe 5-10k if you want to go with simple stuff like coil overs, wheels, exhaust, maybe a body kit, short shifter, cAI and stuff like that. But once you supercharge it or turbo it then it starts to get pricey.
@@hectorguevara572 so I don’t have a ton of current pics on my you tube. I’m making a full walk around video tonight which will be about 15 min long. However I have a ton of pictures on my IG: That_6g_3sge and on my tik tok @JDMPowered
