I just got a 2015 435i m sport car, man I need some suggestions on what exhaust to buy.. I was looking at awe and borla... I dont just wanna get a muffler/res delete cuz that sounds cheap, I want a sports car ferrari noise, not a loud fart. What do you think? Also, everything else I have is stock so do you think I need midpipes? ( i see that they cost additonal $ on the exahust website)? What about downpipes ( catted/catless?) I heard removing cats voids warrenty? Is that BMW warrenty it voids or 3rd party too? ( i have a 3 years warrenty i bought from my used dealership ) What if I just do a axelback w catted downpipes? Can you explain how each piece affects the sound?
Hey, I have 2014 M235 with the same engine. My friend gave me 3.5" VRSF Catless Downpipe (from PWG) and mine is EWG so I need 4". I think to cut that 3.5 inch one and weld new 4 inch. What do you think, will it work out?
Hey! I have a 435i, I got a remus axelback but it's just not loud enough. DO you recommend I get a catless DP or midpipe or delete the resonator ( i think this car only has 1 right?). I like the deep sound on the remus but want a bit louder.
As far as your check engine light goes. I’ve installed a couple Catless dp’s on my cars and normally the tune removes the CEL but if not you have to drive on it for a bit and the CEL will come

Great video! Im tuning my b58 440i in a few weeks. Doing Stage 2 Tune, cold air intake, charge type, same downpipe - my question for you hows your Bmw holding up? And how is the smell after the downpipe install after a while?
I installed catless down pipe on my 435i. The performance is great but the smell is pretty strong in sports mode. I personally can't deal with the smell so I think I'll get a high flow catted downpipe just to not have the smell

Check engine light will come later . You can turn off Cat monitors in Bm3 configuration section.

I’m surprised it took you so long to get fbo now I’m on Stage2+ and fully happy with cosmetic and performance overall. Plugs upgraded , coilovers m performance rims . We need to collab when I go down to New York again.

can you skip stage 1 and go straight to stage 2 tune even without intercooler and downpipes? I just have a cts turbo intake and that's it

Does the catted have less smell?

Hey man so catless has zero catalytic converts so it’s literally an empty pipe (like mine in the video). You can also get high flow catted with gas less aggressive catalytic converters. You’ll actually see in the pipe there’s more space between them compared to your stock one. High flow catted shouldn’t have the same smell as catless. A tune will basically get you to optimize your car with your new down pipe, it’s the best way to do it to actually get good performance upgrades but it’s not technically necessary

Me and my little brother just put one on my 335i xDrive. For me the smell is barely noticeable but I have the EWG. My brother has the PWG and his definitely stunk a ton for a day or so before mellowing out not sure if that’s the reason. As for the burbles they are definitely louder but if you want it to be a gunshot gonna have to play with the DME

Not really, it’s hard to explain. Tbh I don’t mind the smell, I’m used to it being around modified cars. But to a common person, I understand how it can get annoying
The burbles will be much louder with stage 2. Mine is stage 2 non agressive but still with burbles still maxed out and it sounds loud.
