The cone shape weight is a plum weight for checking depth,how its found its way into a field the mind boggles.

The lead cone could be an ariel weight for use in aircraft as the used to trail a long wire when in flight.

I heard that they didnt need to make a mold for musket balls, they could just drop the drips of molten lead into water and the molten lead would form into a circle in mid air, like a rain drop, then when it hit the bucket of water, it cooled down in round a shape.

This is true there was a few towers built for this and you do find some musket balls with any mold marks. But the majority are cast into a mold
