Yeah, it's the same for all of the Champions, Mipha saw Zora's Domain and apologized to her father wishing she could see him one more time and Revali will talk about his village in the secret dialogue saying something like, "even if nobody remembers me, it'll always be my home."
I fucking cheered and cried when Yonobo saw Daruk. It's so bittersweet that these champions are technically dead. I really want Mipha to be able to see her dad again :(
That's the part I don't get, Yonobo is able to see Daruk, literally all spirits are visible to Link, one even disguised himself as an old normal man without the player noticing it until he unveiled himself. So why exactly shouldn't Mipha be able to see her father again? I mean I understand that she needs to control the Divine Beast, but why does she even have to shoot the laser long before the final battle anyway? I mean you literally free the Champions' spirits by beating the Blights inside the Divine Beasts, I have a hard time imagining that they are forced to stay there once free.
Yunobo's laughter when he sees Daruk...my sister just happened to be watching this cutscene as I played the game (I've been doing it alone,) but that alone made her cry.
The characters are one of the greatest things about this game. They actually feel as though they are on your side, through and through. While you have Zelda, the Deku Tree, King Hyrule, Impa and the Champions, you also have the likes of Yunobo, Sidon, Riju, Teba, Kass, and even Beedle giving you that drive and the support that you need. I also felt for the Bolson carpenters, especially Hudson.
Makes you grow attached to them all, too. Just makes everything all the more bittersweet when you leave the Divine Beast after beating its respective Blight and meet with the Champion of that Divine Beast.
I'd say hes about 2500 pounds lol . And mostly gorons roll around very not often do you see them walk If they are walking it is for short distance otherwise they sit if They are going to be in one place for a while like eating rocks. He's not ruling because he has a sword on his back is the only thing that I'm thinking if it was already in his hand he would be rolling with it but since it's on his back and it is a short distance for him to run they made him run but otherwise I think it's because of the sword on his back. My man Daruk love ya.
can I just take a moment to say that I fucking lost it when Vah Rudania just looked around before its face just opened up like a freaking satellite Looks like Gieco finally got its shit together
I just realized that all the champions show different relationships. Mipha's brother takes her mantle Daruk has a descendant who is a bit of a coward but is the only one that sees his ancestors Revali has no bloodline carrying his name but has someone that is on par with his flying skills, who looks up to him. Urbosa has no bloodline either, but Riju looks up to Urbosa for guidance. Brother, Descendant, Inspired Individual, Individual looking for guidance. *EDIT* i keep getting replies on this years later so i just want to say that this was just something i noticed when the game first came out, the DLC kind of proved some of this to be flimsy theorizing but i think i was on the right track. All the new Champions are related to the old Champions by blood it seems, the only one we don't really know about would be Teba (Rito). Mipha ---> Sidon (Sister to Brother) Daruk ----> Yunobo (Great Ancestor to Descendant) *plus Yunobo can use Daruks Protection Revali ----> Teba (?) *the only thing mentioned in the game is Teba's skill is the best in the village, so if anything Teba inherits the same level of discipline as Revali to be better Urbosa ---> Riju (Predecessor, Great Ancestor) *We don't see Riju display any powers, Urbosa was definitely the Gerudo Leader during her time as seen in the DLC, so assuming the Gerudo system works on hierarchy (because Riju's Mom was the previous Queen, and the title of Queen was passed down to Riju) then Urbosa is likely a Great Great Grandmother of sorts to Riju (idk how many "greats" but enough for 100 years) i think the creators are trying to show the type of connection "Link" has in every game being a hero meant to rise and become apart of the Triforce Trio, but with the Champions coming into their own Link/ Protagonist = Will always be a mortal who through hard work and courage becomes the hero Zelda / Hylia = The Reincarnation of Goddess Hylia Ganon / Antagonist = Demises Curse of Hatred/Revenge, a Malice that always comes back. The one consistent foe in the Triforce Trio Champions/Sages lineage has never been explored in terms of mantle being passed, so this was a cool way of exploring it. I'm looking forward to seeing the New Champions take on a bigger role in BOTW 2, i wonder if a Korok will join the champions lol. Hestu for Champion
ThatVideoGameGuy I don't think so, I believe it was stated in the game that Riju's mom passed away recently and had to take the place of queen. They mention how their previous queen was a great queen and that Riju had a lot to learn. That cutscene is what made the Gorons my favorite and Daruk my favorite champion. Sorry Ravioli!
