- Today, I teamed up with Coastal Action and Scotian Shores on Inner Sambro Island as part of the #OutOfTheOcean campaign! I had the chance to meet some amazing, like-minded people, and together we removed an estimated 800kg of trash from the island and the surrounding waters. It was an incredible day making a real impact on the health of our land and seas.
It's time for our community and local businesses to come together and take action for cleaner, healthier oceans. Your support can make a huge difference - let's make our oceans better, together!

Sean, I was bit shocked to see all of the debris and fishing trash recovered. A wonderful team effort with all parties involved in an amazing clean up. Thank you.👍👏😀
:) there was so much here!
That was an amazing cleanup, Sean and friends! So much trash, I am astounded!❤
Right?!
Love seeing this!
:)
Cool video!
❤️
That was a ridiculous amount of stuff to collect. It is amazing to me the amount of garbage and the waste from our fishing industry.
Thank you for your help today
Any time!
Fantastic job. You must be in some high-activity areas because that's a lot of crap you cleaned up.
Indeed. and thanks!
That’s insane!
Right?
@@SaltwaterSean and equally sad I often wonder how anyone can just go “oh this is a good spot for an old fridge” …
Bingingwithbabish goes swimming
I’ll take that
We should start teaching our children when they are young about consequences and teach responsible actions. Bad habit throwing trash in the ocean. I.used to.walk the length of Risser's Beach every spring in the '80s picking up garbage. At most, I'd collect half a big garbage bag and I thought that was bad. 800.kgs is insane.
It was a big group effort for sure
