- Hey there! I found the lack of horror themed '50s style retro trailers quite frankly insulting - so I did one! If you like it, more could follow. 🤓
Check out "IT" 1950's trailer here:
• IT - 1950's Super Pana...
And "Scream" 1950's version after that:
• Scream - 1950's Super ...

Which other horror movies should get a 1950s treatment? 📽💀
Saw! 🙀
human centipede
The 1982 (John Carpenter) version of *The Thing*
american werewolf in london
Halloween
This makes me want new Nightmare On The Elm Street movie that take place in the 50s.
It would be her parents. Remember ? They were kids that burned him alive
Same
@Potatodrumcrow Boy, do you have the story all wrong. The parents were grown ups when they burned Freddy.
Same
You know what, that’s not a bad idea
A reboot of this movie based in the 1950”s would actually be pretty awesome to watch.
Agreed!
Especially if you had to go through the Hays code.
What a cool looking Freddy and love Vincent Price as voice over..very cool.❤❤❤
Honestly, if I did NOT read your comment, before watching this video, I cannot be sure that I would have realized that was a Vincent Price Type voice over 😇😎
the real Vincent Price would ham it up. I mean, he basically built his career on that voice! Comparing this to Michael Jackson's "Thriller"... something went very wrong here.
I didn't appreciate Freddie but the others were cool.
Ummm Hate to tell you this Kid, but that's Not supposed to be, and sounds Nothing like Vincent Price..
@@user-mn5du9te4j Ummm hate to tell you kid, but being a troll is not a good look for you.
Freddy Krueger would scare the shit out of 1950's America.
To quote ad verbatim of the Cinema Snob. They would've shit their pants and had their fifth heart attack.
freddy is not scary at all
Oh, very true! Imagine Instead of showing this in 1984, they show this in the 50’s! Which would probably make the same millions today!
@@Kate.922Shut up!
Yes
I thought this Freddy was terrifying. Then i saw Tinas eyes in the end
Yeah, very funny.
Voice sounds vaguely like Vincent Price. Nice touch.
It's supposed to be him, so good catch. 😎
I was just about to say the same thing
It's not even close
@@teddavis942 Funny, as it's cloned from a Vincent Price voice sample ;)
It sounds a lot like him
The whole trailer looks like a NIGHTMARE. It could easily be a scene from a Nightmare within a Nightmare On Elm Street. I dig it.
AI just looks like a lucid dream.
Yeah - Perfect for a Nightmare on Elm Street movie though - Freddy should look like a lucid dream, ethereal, he is a ghost after all. I wish the "real" movies made him more haunting, like the first one, ethereal and less of a solid wise-cracking "self-entertainer"
Are our dreams just AI?
@@LetsGetitBoah🤔🤯
@@LetsGetitBoah I wonder about it too
Great look with the 50s suburb.
I know right! I wish my neighborhood looked like that.
@@ImJiom I wish a life like that in the 50's
But i am a soldier from México, so posibily if i Went back to.the 50's i live in a camp like the other mexicans AND hace PTSD from the Korean War.
I already have it, well thats what my family says.
Is not Easy been a soldier in México i got deploy in my own fuckin country.
Siempre Leales.
If they did a 1950’s version it would be incredible
that narrator sounds like Vincent Price, one of the best classic horror actors ever
Damn, that would have scared the crap out of people in the 50s.
Yes it would. There is not a single horror movie back then that could have prepared them for Tina's death. This movie is around 40 years old, give or take, and it's still one of the scariest movies I've ever seen.
Vincent Price Narration is an extra special touch
I want to see back in the future, 1950's version please !
That must be one of the best you’ve done so far! Fantastic stuff!
Much appreciated! 😃
This was pretty cool. A 1950's take on "A Nightmare on Elm Street" has some interesting possibilities. Thinking more about it, I wonder what it would look like if the modern "Slashers" were contemporaries of the classic, Universal Pictures Movie Monsters of the 1930's and 1940's. Imagine Freddy Krueger being portrayed by Peter Lorre . . . .
559th Like.
AI getting wild.
I love this, especially the narrator's Mid Atlantic accent spoken by people in radio and in theater at the time.
Holy shit, you just answered a question that bugged me for years: Why did the narrators of movies and documentaries of the midcentury sound so different from those from later decades? Just read the Wikipedia-article about it, this is so fascinating, thankyou very much!
@@danieldv6171 LOL!!! My pleasure. Growing up and watching old movies and listening to excerpts of old radio station announcers, I always couldn't figure out if they were speaking British or American. It sounded like in between. After doing some research, it was called either the Mid-Atlantic or the Trans-Atlantic accent. They were based I suppose on how the upper echelons and prep schoolers talked in that time. It was considered elegant and classy.
@@2painful2watch I didn't know that either. Thank you for the very interesting background info!
The socialite accent
@@lionelhutz5137 Exactly!
This works SO WELL if it were only a real trailer. The uncanny and unnatural way the AI people move and seem to float and morph at times fits perfectly with the way a dream could be viewed as looking like. I don't know if that made sense, but what I'm saying is the freaky way AI things move works well in a dream-based situation.
Good point, didn't look at it like that!
This is beautifully made!! More please! More! 😍😁😎
Thanks bro, I am working on it! 😎
Waiting for The Exorcist in Panavision now..
Oh I like this idea very much indeed!
well done , good editing, amazing voice over. the ai is getting better quickly. these are getting so cool. y’all are pioneers by taking the time to figure out prompting & make these vids . one day hopefully well all be able to tailor make whatever cool stuff we can imagine & share it. awesome 👏
Thanks a lot friend, and I agree - that future doesn't seem that far away anymore!
@@WeEatPopcornAnyway 👍
A nightmare on elm st movie with that bizzare AI feel for the nightmare sequences would be dope AF
As a child of the 80s, THANK YOU! This might just be one of the coolest things I have seen in a couple years!!!
Happy to hear you enjoyed the video and thank you for the kind words. Much appreciated!
oh my god, a brilliant mash-up , the Vincent Price-esque voice over is the cherry on top.
Now do The Exorcist in 50's Suburbia that can be fantastic.
Now I must return to the sweet embrace of the crypt, but I'll be back! huhuhahahaha!
I'm just impressed with your ability to follow whatever current trend it is! Not to mention writing prompts. Hats off to your amazing artistic skills.
Thanks bro, too kind of you
Vincent Price LIVES...!!
I have a vision: Remakes of classics but set in the 50s and filmed on Panavision.
This was soooo cool! What a neat concept 😊
Thank you! 😊
This is far more terrifying than the original
What a throwback. In more ways than one. Very impressive work. I love seeing.nostalgic blends like this
This was pretty good! I loved the narration in it.
I will sarcastically say "Thank you" to the program that makes these videos for removing what makes classic films such as Star Wars, Star Trek, The Terminator, and many others visually distinctive, the fact that they were made by different groups of people.
I will sarcastically respond "Thank you" as well
This is incredible and I love every second of it. 😲🙌💞
Thank you so much! Maybe also check out the Dream Warriors video I just made: th-cam.com/video/_OXAFVAGAFo/w-d-xo.html
Bravo! The promo voice is fitting and spooky, and 1950's Freddy is downright frightening!
Thanks a lot! ❤️
Lon Chaney jr as Freddie
obviusly and jack pierce the makecover and prostetic
All we need now is "Mr Sandman" playing in the background, and this would be perfect
We need full length
I would so buy a ticket in advanced for the 1st showing of this, love it!!
This is outstanding!! It looks terrifying.
This would be an amazing horror movie remake.
Stop teasin, giv us that panavision full movie
This Park Road Post 4K remaster is amazing!
The Vincent price narrator gives me chills man he always made me scared
That evil laugh from Freddy at 0:52 is worth a chef's kiss. Mwah!
Dude. Nancy is a total SMOKESHOW. Lol
Jokes aside, this looks like a GREAT concept and I wish this for the next reboot!
Good looking picture with Freddy terrorizing in the 50s
A 1950's Nightmare on Elm Street would be crazy 😊
Freddy looks more evil and scary than the movie directed by Wes Craven. Very good editing !☝☝☝
Thanks bro
The clips of Freddie crack me up. Its like the Acid is in full effect but youre still holding a good buzz while shits bananas. 😂
I'm taking what you having!
It really captures the corny formality of old trailers
I love these, make more!!
Thank you, I will! ❤️
Elm street reboot in the 50’s setting gonna be 🔥
Some of your better work here. I think when you incorporate the right tone in music (in this case horror) with the Panasonic voice over it hits just right.
Thanks so much
Your Channel is the best ❤
Thanks so much
The remake is never knew i needed. Now i want this version
Very well done! 👏👏❤️
Thanks bro
Incroyable utilisation (et maitrise) des outils IA. Bravo !
Love the way it looks..
Very well done! 🔥👏
Thanks friend! 🙃
this is AMAZING and we are gonna play it on our variety show with a plug. I know we don't have the subs you do but we enjoy and promote good art!!!
Thanks so much, appreciate the support!
The different Freddy designs look like they could be different nightmares.
Very nicely done. I like it
That last shot of Tina is the real nightmare.
Priceless!!😂 ..this should of been the remake! Great job!
Thanks bro, appreciate it! If you liked this one, check out my trailer for Part 3: Dream Warriors too 💪

@@crankitup86 Thank you :)
Way cool!!! Awesome renderings. Often better than the originals. Too cool. Well done. Seriously, well done!
0.23 I love the fact you included the car from the 1984 movie ❤
Good catch!
I would watch the who thing if they did a 1950s Nightmare on elm street x'D
And here I thought it was bad before, but in that time, Freddy was a classic nightmare legend.
Ah the 50s ❤️
Back then the movie would have been titled “It Came From The Subconscious.”
I saw 3 brads play in the dirt with them 438 fingers.
Kids were just different back then
AI is making better movies than hollywood
So cool! :D
Love it that was amazing
❤🔥
THAT FIRST SHOT OF FREDDY IS THE MOST TERRIFYING FREDDY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oooh I love this!! ❤️💚❤️💚
Wow I love this!
❤🔥
The Vincent Price Voice Was Perfect...
"Gee golly willickers! I saw that horrible Freddy Guy in my dreams last night!"
Great job you should add Bob Hope and Bing Crosby as the wacky neighbors who help the kids kill Freddy that would be fun to see.
love it. you hit the time bro
I've been seeing these all day on TikTok so cool
This particular one too? Now I am curious 🤓
still trying to figure out why AI makes the legs of a group of people walking in the middle ground or distance seem like their legs are actually put on backwards and have a backwards walking motion even though the body is going in the correct direction. you can sort of see it at 0:06, and I've seen it more in some of the other recently posted "AI" 50's style trailers for films like Dune, Star Wars, etc
I bet this would have been a scary movie back in the 50s
That's pretty fantastic right there!
This should be a movie. Instead of doing remakes do something cool like this.
Agreed
I would like to see _Die Hard_ please.
Amazing ❤
This is so cool
Thank you ♥️
Nice concept and execution
This is cool. I love it plz do a mini movie 🎬
This one was really good, and I will love to watch this movie. That's a surreal time for us.
AI is terrifying.
This is the first time in a while Freddy creeped me out. Good job!
Thank you! Happy to hear! 💪
This would make a great remake idea. Mwhahaha
It sounds like Vincent Price, but speaking in a more joyful upbeat tone lol
Yes, the voice is based on the old master of horror :)
