Maybe I'm just used to seeing the actual Xenomorphs, but these depictions of them are truly unsettling. Like, the uncanny valley or surreal nightmares. It may be that they trigger a nostalgic horror in me from the sci-fi movies I watched as a kid, coupled with the abject terror of "modern day" Aliens. Or perhaps the idea of the innocence of the 1950's being marauded by one of the most terrifying film franchises of all time. Whatever the case, it makes me uneasy watching them.

'50s Ripley and Vasquez spend most of their time on screen falling down and twisting an ankle, getting rescued and making coffee and sandwiches.
The female lead in 'War of the Worlds' 1953 Ann Robinson (Sylvia Van Buren) . Screams, falls down, gets rescued, serves coffee, screams, gets rescued, makes breakfast, screams again.
The exception to this trope is 'Them' Pat Meadford ( Joan Weldon) a scientist is actually knowledgeable and helpful and only screams and serves drinks once IIRC
Don't forget Margaret Sheridan from "The Thing from Another World". She never screamed and came up with the way to fight the Thing.
Don't forget "faints". When I saw the 1953 WotW as a teen, I kept yelling at the lead to just dump her unconscious carcass by the roadside for the Martians.
@@stevenscott2136 Which WotW did you see? She screamed a lot but I don't recall her ever fainting in the movie. She did fall asleep in the trench after their plane crashed. In fact, Clayton Forrester (the lead) was knocked unconscious after the farm house got demolished and Silvia was tending to him when he woke up.
I don't see anything wrong. I'm tired of "strong women" Netflix cliche...
By the way, there were a ton of them in the films of the 50s. In the same Westerns.

Here's what I would like to see. Your channel, a 200 million dollar budget and your entire catalog of movie trailers made into movies. It's funny that the design of the ships and weapons has changed, but the design of the Alien hasn't changed one iota.
Great effort but we all know the story of the films.
You should have tried pushing it in another direction... eg when you get to the bit where the announcer says "the Alien is hungry for blood" try instead... "The alien is hungry for disco"
Then you can dive straight into the "let's build a campfire and sing a few songs scene." and go to infinity and beyond.
