If you slice some meat in a specific way, it will have a rainbow iridescence from light interacting with the microscopic structures of the muscles. Roast beef cold cuts are often rainbow because of this.

All the members of the cast had strengths but only John had a true physical menace to him. Combined with that laugh he came off as almost scary. In a funny, sarcastic way, of course.

John Candy was real but actually surreal . If u watch all his episodes on SCTV plus his movies consider how much time he was in front of a camera and the extra time he invested before he was on a stage . Truly incredible. He was 43 when he passed away , of course making a movie . In Mexico 🇲🇽 . Bless John Candy. 👍

My dad loves olive loaf. He also eats corned beef hash, pickled herring, and occasionally sardines. I think my stepdad, who's almost 90, still eats liverwurst.

Is that the same kid from Meatballs? The one who had the pet frog in the box in the beginning. The time lines up and they were both filmed pretty close to each other.
Obviously Warwick Davis's Leprechaun drew inspiration from this.

I know it's SNL brand but I highly recommend trying Quarry Cereal. Quarry isn't grown; it's mined. It's the only cereal that's pure 100% rocks and pebbles, for a hearty old-fashioned flavor the whole family will enjoy.
I like Quarry because it's crunchy.

The inspiration for the evil Leprechaun film series
I was in high school when the first film came out and we loved seeing the ads on TV because they would end with a very deep voice saying, "Leprechaun" like he really meant it and then when it cut from the title card to the credit block, you'd hear the Leprechaun shriek, "I need me gold!"
In hindsight its funny since now we know rainbows on sliced meat arent actual a sign of bacteria or spoilage but rather an aftereffect of how the meat was cut,

for the record, the rainbow on meat is caused by water coming to the surface in tiny droplets. the "chemical" responsible is h2o. the only "unnatural" thing anyone did to "process" it is cut it super thin with a stupidly sharp knife, leaving an abnormally smooth surface for the rainbow to gather on
but by all means go destroy more good honest employee-supporting businesses by making up and perpetuating imaginary dangers connected with industry. You'll feel safe when you're living in a shack eating something you dug out of the ground that you roasted over a fire
